Its fun to just play without a plan, I've been doing this first thing in the morning while having my coffee. Then I can think of what my plan for the day is. My kids like the Avengers and watch all of those movies it sound like you had fun and best of all family time. Tfs
I'm excited to watch this process, I've been in a 'grungy mood', I think because my last journals were so bright...Gerberas are my favorite flower too, I fell in love with them when I was a florist, just the beautiful colors, that God created, always makes me think of how amazing our God is! I don't have a background in art or design, except for my life-long love of both. I used to draw a lot when I was younger, and I've always crafted. I just playing with all of the crafty goodies!
Domestic Art is what I call a journal I make from larger craft books or cookbooks. I include items used in "domestic arts" - patterns, yarns, sewing ephemera, bits of needlework, embroidery transfers, even zippers. And recipe cards, etc. for the cookbooks. Gina Johnson inspired me with her "Homebodies" books (she's TheRebookery on Etsy and TH-cam).
It’s just fun watching you put it all together. Quiet is not a bad thing when you get in your zone !

No, not Burpees. I didn't order seeds; they were young plants and they came in plastic bags with a little dirt.
