@@scruffymuffin6147 I understand what you mean but, he’s an Indian boy being adopted by a family in the us so the accent would usually wear off after the first few years and i know it’s just a tv show but there are also a lot of other stereotypes for instance the rich white blond, the smart Asian (referring to bunked) the messy Latino (bunked), the sassy black girl, and the smart Indian that only studies and haves a very strong accent and it was a little dragged out (also I was bothered by it because I’m Indian so the accent is what everyone thought I sounded like when they met me and after years I realized how messed up that is) but I understand where your coming from and that’s totally your opinion and I can’t argue because that what you think!

Karan has been taking lessons to gain his Indian accent back, and when he audition for Jessie, he himself performed in an Indian accent !! original Ravi was gonna be a Played by a Hispanic dude, and since The producers of Jessie loved Karan Brar’s audition, they change the whole Hispanic Role just for him, they made Ravi indian, which is how he originally auditioned for it.
