No one had a basketball career like Kareem when you factor in what he did before the NBA: 3 NCAA championships, 3 national college player of the year (they lost 2 games in his 3 years at UCLA). I'm a Celtics guy so this is not coming from blind love: Kareem was the greatest.
@ I’m over 50. Grew up in NYC. I’ve been a Knicks fan since 1989. I’ve seen Michael Jordon play in person at Madison Square Garden. I hated him but he was UNBELIEVABLE…The GOAT!
This documentary narrator I don't agree with. Jordan was popular, because he was an amazing baller, not because of his personality. PERIOD. Also, as far as clutch points go, if you need 3 points in the last seconds of a game, Kareem will not be able to give that. Also, if the game is coming out of a time out, and there is only 3 seconds left, Kareem will not get the ball because he is in the paint. 3 seconds is only enough time from an inbounds pass for a perimeter shot. So for outside shots, Kareem is NOT the go to. This right here is Kareem's weakness. Goats have NO WEAKNESSES. He won 6 championships, so what? Bill Russell has 11 NBA titles. Based on that, Russell is the GOAT. Michael Jordan has an NCAA championship and 2 Olympic Gold Medals. Thats equivalent to Kareem's college success. Kareem's PPG is 24, Jordans PPG is 30. Kareem would be obsolete in the modern NBA with the dominance of the perimeter 3 point shot. Centers aren't as important anymore. Kareem scored his points close to the hoop. Jordan scored his points far from the hoop from the back court. This is more difficult because it requires either an outside shot or a drive to the hoop against multiple defenders. JORDAN IS GOAT. Nice provocative video, Nosaa! You are a GOAT too.👍👍
