Your mystery item in the beginning is a vinaigrette. It was used by Victorian woman to keep from smelling the foul odors of the streets. The small size is for being discreet and could be easily hidden in their sleeve on a ribbon or in a handbag. Since this is a small sized one and can be used for French Fashion dolls, in the US I have seen for sale $50 and up!
They were made of bone, ivory, vegetable ivory or celluloid. A small piece of cotton or wool dipped in strong vinegar, wine or perfume would be inserted inside.
I thought it was something like that. Didnt know what it was called though.Thank you! Happy Mothers Day!
The little 'rattle' with the holes, reminded me of the thing a priest uses to sprinkle holy water. You'll have to start a mini church now. 😁❤❤
yes, a pail and sprinkler.
I was thinking the same thing
Bravo! Toothpaste Head should be the name of a band...
I adore grandmother's dollhouse. So many lovely little objects. The contents are very special.❤
Nanny’s dolls houses are absolutely exquisite I can see where your love of miniature comes from every little detail has been well thought. Beautiful.
Nanny has some exquisite treasures in her dollhouses. Your haul from the Antiques fair was delightful. Love to join you on these videos. Marvelous!
Wow! Nanny has a lot of doll houses!
Enjoyed the tour of the fair and the unboxing, the two glass items were real gems. The little plates of food, particularly the egg and bacon, activated the taste buds no end!!! Grandma/mum’s dollhouse is very stylish.
This is a perfect way of having 500 of your favorite things in one place!😊 ❤❤❤ ❤🇺🇸
What a lovely video ! I so enjoy the two of you laughing and showing the treasures from the Antiques fair and Nannies dollhouses are just exquisite. Thank you taking us along ! You always make my morning better 🥰🥰 Love and hugs
Loved the tour of Nanny’s dollhouse! The little mystery item you have that looks like a tiny rattle is actually quite a rare little prize! I believe it is a miniature carved bone pomander. It would have been filled with herbs or other fragrant material and used much like a small vinaigrette that one might have carried, to ward off foul odors back in the day, of which there were plenty. Google ‘miniature bone pomander’ and you’ll find more of these delightful Victorian artifacts!
Nanny’s dollhouses are simply amazing and magical, it I wish she would dress the naked dolls 😮
Hi,Fleur and Kate, those are some pretty beautiful things.I love everything.enjoy your purchases.
What an absolute double delight!! The antique fair AND Manna’s miniature house are amazing!! Thank you for sharing!! Can’t wait for the next video! ❣️❣️
That antique looked wonderful, so many miniatures .Love the goodies you found too ,that baby bottle is absolutely adorable . Thank you so much for showing us around your grandmothers houses ,they are so special and very inspiring
Absolutely love
Your new items are great! I would be hard pressed to pick just a few but you did a great job! Ladies you should try to talk Grandma into letting you make some clothing for those beautiful naked little dolls! You do such a good job make clothes for yours, it would be nice to see dresses for them! These house are absolutely beautiful, I love them! Please be careful and stay safe! ❤❤
Grandma's dollhouse is gorgeous!
Some lovely tiny pieces in your haul! Those teeny tiny saucepans are just amazing! Nannie's dolls houses are absolutely stunning, thank you and her so much for letting us see them!
The pink dishes remind me of my moms pink melmac dishes she had in the 60’s
That little glass box would make a fantastic butter keeper. And that bottle is just gorgeous!
The antique fair looked wonderful. The dolls houses are amazing, they are so beautifully decorated. 💕
Nanny's dolls need some clothes 🤭 What a lovely collection she has! And your treasures from the sale are all very useful! 👍
I want to live in that dollhouse.❤❤❤❤
The item you got for free looks like a chocolate mixer. You hold the handle between the palms of both hands and move the handle with the palms move your palms back and forth. This will froth up the chocolate. Used commonly in Mexico.
I don't know. The Mexican chocolate frother looks similar but they are made of wood and there are lots of slats cut into the wood. That's what whips up the chocolate when you roll it between your hands. And I've never seen one that unscrews
@@pattykelly6621 your probably right..chaulk it up to a wild guess 🌺
Could it be a frother for laundry soap ? … no idea just guessing .. ???
I guess it is a flea trap which was attached to a belt or bow on a lady's dress.
The tiny rattle , some sort of pouncer, put powder in it or maybe lavender to repell moths.???
The little free gift with holes could be either a laundry sprinkler or baby powder duster? Just a thought
I so enjoy the peaceful and quiet nature of your content, it speaks to the dreams I have of where if like to be in the future. Peacefully and quietly(and excitedly) wondering in nature looking for discarded treasures. Thank you for your hard work❤
❤Luv this @Kate and @Fleur ❤
I want to live in nannies dolls house!😁
Enjoyed your video! So relaxing looking into Nanny's beautiful doll houses!😃
🎹so love this and the music is perfect! All of your videos leave me wanting to rewatch them. Please consider referencing music in the the subtitles This one especially❣
Very pretty but some of the dolls look like they still need clothes. The decorations are perfect and well thought out thanks for sharing ❤
🙋♀️❤ How about a toothpaste tube cap, for a hat!
Ohh! Nanny's doll house is just elegant! I'd live there!...(if I were a doll!)
So Sweet
so wonderful
Just looked it up and the stick with holes in the ball at the end is exactly like a blessing stick.. Don, t know it, s name but in church the priest bless the people on some special occasions shaking it with holy water towards the people attending, on internet you can see the pope doing this, but I have Seen it being used at Easter and in funerals, blessing the coffin... But you can use it as a rattle, unless you make a church, lol.
What a great place to shop!!! Loved all the little bits you found there. Your mom's houses are really pretty.
Great to see all the miniatures at the antiques fair and your little pot of treasures!Nanny's houses are lovely so full of wonderful details and tiny things.
sweet 🥰
If you put grains of rice in that little object, it will be a baby rattle for a doll 😊
This is simplify amazing and very inspiring. When my little girls and I take a particular walk we always see a tree that has a very fetching hole. We say that it should be a fairy home every time we pass. You’ve inspired me to turn our musings into a fun project!
Omg nanny’s dollhouse!!! Sooo many treasures!! The teeny nick nacks and things oh the walls!!!! I could cry they’re so sweet. I even love that they’re not perfectly in scale so they’re more like an assortment of tiny treasures than a totally believable room. I prefer that actually.
The excitement in your comments shows your joy. Please be mindful how you call on the Holy name of God. Do not be too casual; think of another phrase to express surprise.
@@jeme7339 absolutely not. Even if you believe in the Bible which I DO NOT- the meaning is actually not to misappropriate his teachings for malpractices. So claiming that the Bible says to kill or hate others, for example. Some have also interpreted it as calling upon him for small unimportant reasons- which is originally how someone might have used “oh my god”.
A much different issue is you thinking you can police my language because of your beliefs. If you believe in Jesus you should be helping the sick and needy not being bossy about trivial shit online.
@@fancifuldevices I am sorry if my efforts were not well communicated. I meant no offense. I did not intend to diminish your excitement.
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. ITS PERFECT.
Wow ! I am Loving this @Grammas Doll House ❤
I think the little celluloid shaker is for powdered sugar to shake on pastries.
I'm so jealous you have sales like that. That is awesome, so many cute items.
I want to live in the tiny house.
What amazing treasures! A lovely video ❤
🎉some nice bits there 🎉
Love the doll house for a doll house at Nanny’s ❤.
Your Mom and Nanny (or Grandma) has been so busy! I think the ivory thing might be a pommander (not the clove studded orange sort). I would love to see the coming together of the 1:24th house😊
Loved the tour of Grammys doll houses
... beautiful!!❤
Fabulous😊
I figured that the prices probably are outrageous because some of looks really old but it looks really fun. How cool that is.😊😊
❤Loving this ❤
Those dollhouses look priceless. I really am wanting to start my own journey with a dollhouse. I had one as a child but passed it on to a family nearby that was having a hard time financially. That was 20+ years ago and I will never forget the smiles on those 3 girls faces.
Although in a way I do miss it now. I had actually gotten a lot of the furniture and miniature items from a store we have where everything was $1. Those girls are grown now and I would feel too intrusive to ask whatever happened to the dollhouse but I do hope it was passed on to another family. Santa brought it to me and that was one of my best Christmas memories being a small child.
I adore these videos. Thank you for letting me ramble on and for making these delightful videos.
You go for it girl, get yourself a dollhouse you deserve it.
An enjoyable visit to the two Nanny houses- so much to see in each room that I watched at ,75 speed. Like seeing the intro also, with what seemed an overwhelming amount of goodies to choose from- your choices are perfect.
Oh my goodness, nanny's houses are divine, so many treasures. The wired flowers you got at the antique fair are gauntell work , beautiful
So many lovely miniatures. A girl can only dream. Thanks for sharing.

Love toothbrush head!!!!😂
Well that was so lovely to watch. Thank you ladies.
Loved the antique dolls fair you went to. I bet there were so many things you were drooling over there. None the less, you found some lovely little items fir your dolls houses. I'm really itching to see your tiny little house your doing.
Nanny has such a beautiful dolls house. It looked enchanting. Down to the wall papers and all the tiny wonderful collection of flowers, furniture, animals, dolls and furnishings. Absolutely enchanting i think describes it.
Thank you for sharing. ❤😊xx
What a wonderful day out at the dolls house fair. I have been to a few many years ago up in London. Love Nanny's houses and always nice to see that picture of Fleur when a child. Stay safe you two. Love Fairy Acorn
I am dying of jealousy! Everything looked so enticing at that fair!
the antique fair had so many dolls house furniture i'd love for my Victorian dolls house. enjoyed tour of your furnished house. so many lovely items in each room. when will you be making clothing for the family members? i've seen the gifts of fabric & trims you've received so no excuses for naked dolls!! thanx
You have such cool stuff, love all of it.
Mystery item could be for smelling salts or maybe powdered purfume❤😊
I truly enjoyed this video ❤ Thanks for sharing! Lots of love all the way from Tyler Texas ❤️
I ❤ that!! You ladies are one of my favorites to watch. 😊😊😊
The little rattle is a an antique needle case xxx
You can get a bottle that you feed kittens that have been abandoned by their momma cat. Those nipple are very small.
The unusual first item reminds me of a vintage ironing board water sprinkler.
Looking forward to this ladies.
Great finds at the fair. Your nannas dolls houses are awesome, thank you and her for sharing them with us. Take care and thanks again for sharing 👏🙏❤️
Just delightful. If you're too self conscious maybe Kate should do the filming next time you go to a fair, this part could have been a bit longer but totally understandable, I'd be incredibly embarrassed myself. Your mum's dolls houses are incredible with fascinating bits and Bob's. They are not really bits and bobs they are individual memorys, moments in time captured in miniatures, glorious.
So many sweet tiny items! So special, so amazing. I love it!
The puppy at the piano!
Thank you for such a beautiful video, giggles and all. Grandma’s houses are a work of art, i will be watching again and again as each time I will spy something different 💛🧡🤎
A marvel!
That tooth paste doll is so funny!!! Lol
The plates of food and the pink cups ect are 1970s I was given the same set for my doll house back in the day.
Going to an antique fair on Sunday..maybe I can find some dollhouse things!
Nannie has such beautiful doll houses Thanks for sharing 👍♥️🗝️❤️ Everything is so clean and bright and.homey
I was thinking the "rattle" could be a stanhope does the handle unscrew
It looks like a rattle but IThink it’s a sewing tool to put in a sock to mend and maybe room in the handle foe needles?? Just a guess! Love your videos….so fun! Thanks
That was hilarious when you both cracked up over “toothpaste head”. Cute things are so cute. My favorite are upholstered chairs and couches, I think. And some of the crockery. 😊
Nanny's dollhouses are exquisite: the wallpapers, the blue iris, the rugs and blankets, the kittens and puppies in different poses, all of it is wonderful. One thing I keep wondering is Are there rooms in the "attic" portion of the dollhouse??
The little glass container with a lid, could be used as a butter dish, my grandparents had one very similar... I love the things you brought, so cute 💕💕💕😢
😊😊😊
I see your Mum/Nan still has her "nekkid ladies" in the lounge! Plus ça change...!! Made me laugh, but what lovely dollhouses they are! And great finds at the antique fair! Thank you for sharing! kindest regards, k
( First thing) Possibly it can be a flea cases, i think so . Putt a drop of blood on a piece of cotton wool inside .
👍🏼💜thank you for the wonderful dolls house tour! Just beautiful.
The item you got for free we think is actually a rattle, unscrew to add rice for rattle sounds
It's more mundane but that could be a sprinkler for ironing clothes.
Thank you for sharing this was so awesome 💛🧡🏠
Nanny’s dolls house is absolutely exquisite
That one item looks like a maraca to me.
Interesting mystery item! Kind of looks like an antique muddler to me.
