Renaissance Wangfujing has location, location, location and Forbidden City views. Most Asian hotels are wonderful but we stick to Marriott and IHG chains whenever possible for perks and points. What is your favorite chain?

Boutique hotels have their own charms, but there is something to be said for the delights of a chain hotel, at its very best! Such comfort after a challenging day on the road! Thank you for the video!
We've only begun staying at Renaissance in the past year. Try to stick to either IHG or Marriott. I would select more boutque hotels except for playing the "point game." We do get many free nights by playing this game but also miss out on some outstanding small hotels. Can't win them all, Daniel.

I looked out the plane window coming into Beijing Airport and is was one big mass of smog. Pleasantly surprised that our stay here and through the rest of China was smog-free - completely unexpected! Thanks for watching, Pelly.

A very, very nice buffet but I for comparison sake only, I thought the Kempinski Yinchuan (next place on this trip) was the best.
