    Oh wow Lydia, thank u, thank u, thank u!!!! Like the lady in previous comments I have tried quite a few of other folks tutorial, most of them have many many more followers than you, and just couldn’t follow to get a successful project done, but thankfully saw yours, and read the comments and most certainly agree that you have a fantastic, simple, straightforward way of describing this process, which resulted in a successful project for me!!!!!! Honestly was seriously considering selling my cricut, but gonna keep at it, and you’ve def got a new subscriber!!!! Thank you so much again kxx

    I have watched about 4 or 5 other sticker videos before I found yours and this one was the best. I watched it a few times and was able to make the stickers I needed. I tried to do it for a second set of stickers but method doesn't work. Thank you for your video.

    How would I save it, so I can go to office Depot and have them printed there .. so I can just bring home and cut.

    • @LydiaWatts
      @LydiaWatts  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You would need to choose "Save to PDF" or "Print to PDF" in the system dialog box when printing.

      You'll need to go through the troubleshooting steps: help.cricut.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009426434-I-m-getting-an-error-that-the-machine-cannot-read-the-cut-sensor-marks. If you are still having trouble, you'll need to call Cricut.

    • @LydiaWatts
      @LydiaWatts  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If it is cutting the logo, you haven't flattened to a solid background. If you don't want a background, you need to put a solid white shape behind it, select all the layers, and flatten.

    How is it that your ink doesn’t rub off your stickers

    • @LydiaWatts
      @LydiaWatts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use printable sticker paper. There’s a link in the description to my blog post which has a supply list.

  • @jf6720

    As soon as I flatten it gets rid of the circle and cuts the image I put inside! What am I doing wrong?

    • @LydiaWatts
      @LydiaWatts  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s hard to say without seeing your design. Your background image must be completely solid. Make sure you have all the layers selected, including the background image, before you flatten. Your layers panel should contain one flattened set.

  • @jewel6646
    @jewel6646 ปีที่แล้ว

    So one has to print the design with a printer before using the cricut?

    • @LydiaWatts
      @LydiaWatts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, print then cut uses your home printer to print the design and the Cricut cuts the design out.

    • @LydiaWatts

      You probably have your sticker paper upside down.

  • @barbra429
    @barbra429 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    For some reason when I flatten text it comes out not as bright and bold it comes out more dull and faded looking anyone know why this might be happening

    • @LydiaWatts
      @LydiaWatts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The brightness of your printed image will depend on your printer and the material you are printing on. Printing on matte material, such as cardstock, will result in a more muted look. Images printed on vinyl, glossy sticker paper, and glossy photo paper will be brighter.

    The clear printable setting didn't cut through my paper :(

    • @LydiaWatts
      @LydiaWatts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You wouldn’t want to use that setting on paper. It’s for the Cricut clear printable sticker sheets. It won’t cut all the way through. It will do a “kiss cut” - cutting through the top layer and leaving the backing sheet intact.

    • @barbra429
      @barbra429 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LydiaWatts yes, that's what I used, the clear for a kiss cut, but I got it figured out, thanks

      Thank you.. the cricut brand seems very thick and hard. What do you recommend for a softer, more pliable material?

    • @LydiaWatts
      @LydiaWatts  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dthomascful I've only ever used the Cricut clear sticker paper because I like the quality. If you are using regular white sticker paper, there are lots of options on Amazon. You may have to experiment with a few brands to find one you like.

    Not getting it. What is this "clear sticker paper"? Do I put that on the mat and it cuts that? You were doing fine up until you were finished with design space - then you lost me.

    • @LydiaWatts
      @LydiaWatts  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Did you go to my blog post? The link is in the description, and I'll put it here too: lydiawatts.com/2020/09/20/how-to-make-print-then-cut-stickers-in-cricut-design-space/. There's a link to the clear sticker paper in the post. Print then cut uses your home printer to print and the Cricut to cut. You place the printed sticker paper on the mat and the Cricut cuts it.
