I remember your first video that you got shots like this, this is amazing underwater shots and love how you take time to share these wonderful experiences!
The first one I shot was way harder because the water was deeper and the fish kept knocking over the camera. When I would reset the camera, I had to wait a while for the fish to come back after I scared them away. The whole experience was fun yet frustrating! This time, I was able to move the camera around and push the fish right back to it. Fun and easy!
Right on. I remember loving "Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom" when I was kid. That's when there were a few channels and that was on one night a week. The good old days!
I was at this very same spot last week, Friday October 11th. I also took a video of the trout swimming in that pool. What day was this? Seemed like even more fish last week. It was really nice to see.
This was the 3rd. Looks like real healthy spawning. Trout populations in alpine lakes all over the range have benefited from the good snowfall the last couple Winters.
Can see that every year about this time at 120 Junction campground Saddlebag Creek/Tioga creek confluence. The come up from Ellery Lake. First rain, maybe this weekend, it will look like a hatchery trough.
It's pretty mush happening all over the mountains this time of year. Just need to catch it in the inlet and outlet creeks of mountain lakes. Cool thing to see.
Not an issue. I've had a clip like this up for years with thousands of views on top of multiple fishing clips for this lake and dick's lake and there's very few people to no one up there every time I go. I have over 6 dozen backcountry lakes, and hiking trails to them, on my backcountry playlists so this is one clip buried amongst dozens and dozens. At first glance I see why one would think that but in the 5 years I have been doing this it simply hasn't played out like that. I had dozens of locations on my playlists before a lot of people even started watching. Plus, the hike up here is fairly brutal which deters most from going. Start planning, I have decades of possible trips across my channel playlists for you to consider.
Very beautiful shots. Thank you for sharing.
The colors on those fish were outstanding.
Yogi and Boo Boo are missin' the boat. Great footage. Thanks for giving us the fish eye view.
That would have been a feast for a bear. A bird of prey could have sat right there and had a feast too. Surprised nothing was hanging out here.
awesome fisheo! love watching your videos
Thank you. The colors on those fish were amazing.
Awesome! Caught some nice brookies back in the day at Fontenellis.
They are still there waiting for you. It's a heck of a hike up there though. You have to want it!

Outstanding video 👍💯
Right on. The bright spawning colors are outstanding.
Super Cool! Amazing colors on your camera...
Yeah, I really dig those vibrant colors.
Amazing footage of a massive amount of brookies. That should be a dinner bell for bears.
That's what I was thinking! How are there no bears cashing in on this. Turns out, they were down on the trail when I was hiking out!
Incredible video 👏👏 thanks for sharing
Right on. Amazing spawning colors.
Awesome shots!
The bright colors really came out.
Enjoyed the video. I think I was at that lake about 45 years ago.
Right on. Nice trip down memory lane for you. I got some big brookies once I switched to jig fishing down deep. I'll get that clip up later tonight.
SOME OF YOUR BEST FOOTAGE EVER ...
Right on. Thank you.
Wow the colors !
That's the first thing that came to mind when I watched the clip myself. Amazing.

You're like Jacques coustea.
