actually useful info: 1. what apps you use isn't that important, what's important is the brush selection and the color selection, other tools if needed is important too 2. don't rlly use plain white for highlights if you're looking for more realistic coloring 3. get better at choosing brush and divide them for different uses ( like this brush for eyes, this brush for hair) 4. always flip your canvas 5. learn color schemes and make your own comfortable palette

Ibis paint actually pretty good, I use it since I was in highschool. The result ofc depends on the skill and technique you use. Also they have folder fiture on layer now, it's really convenient!

I did the procreate hair on IbisPaint. I only needed 2 colors. 1 color (brown is easiest) then I used I lighter color (orangish-brownish) for a streak in the middle. I then used the smudge tool then selected the smudge brush called "hair" to make it look like that. All the brushes are FREE for 18 hours when you watch 1 add! You can do it anytime 😊

@Squidkidwastaken procreate is also only available on apple devices, which means if u dont have an apple device, cant get it anyway. ibispaint is very customizable and has a community of people who make custom brushes and its very easy to make ur own brushes too. just mess around with the settings and voila. i made a very nice jelly gouache brush in ibispaint to acquire a certain look for art. and the best part is it costs nothing

You just didn't use the right blender in Ibis paint X. Try doing a small blend using the airbrush. Go over it multiple times, first doesn't look very good sometimes.
Real quick reminder to almost all of the Procreate artists: Most artist s don't have apple items and they only have Android and other devices, because in some devices you can't get procreate unless it's Apple.

They are legit using such a thin brush in ibis paint x like what do you expect with such a low opacity-
You can do the exact same thing on ibis paint. I've been using ibis paint x for around 4-5 years, so I think I would know.
My brushes in Procreate aren’t working well, but I still love it
They both are really good😊 I usually sketch on Ibispaint X and Color on procreate (but I normally grew up with Ibispaint)
I have flippin ibispaint and it blends so well
I feel like ibis paint x are cooler, for me it's because it's really cool app that I really love to draw with 'also they try to make ibis paint x bad, btw use smudge not blur'

Both are quite good, depending on which one you used first, it will be your preference, I prefer ibis paint because I used it first and I know how to use it great, but I don't use another application, perhaps if you learned to use both applications you could already give your verdict, but since the majority only decides the application that they know how to use, they give their opinion without knowing, for me all the drawing applications are good, since they fulfill the function they should. ..the one to draw digitally!!! thanks for your attention.
