- Hello friends. In this video, I made 5 bench saw sleds. These sleds are very simple to make and very useful sleds. Apparatuses that are very useful in woodworking. I made 3 slides for 45 and 90 degree cutting. I made 2 sleds for dovetail joining. I uploaded the video with the name very simple and useful table saw sleds, very easy and useful bench saw sleds to make. I used mdf in the construction of these sleds. I used mdf in 6cm, 8cm and 1.8cm thicknesses. I often used a quick adhesive activator spray in the making of the sleds. I did not share measurements in this video. Because the sled dimensions will vary from brand to brand. I just shared how I did it in an understandable way. I hope you get an idea. Thank you very much for your interest.

I think the two-sided 90 & 45 degree sled is the most useful -- no limit on the depth of the piece being cut, and a 2 for 1 value! Thank you, Celal.

Hello Celal,
Why did you square the rear fence to the table saw fence instead of the blade. Something I would not do. I always square the rear fence of my sleds to the blade then run the 5 cut test before permanently attaching the rear fence.

been shown on TH-cam to put glue on one side of the surface and spray the other than bring together.

Hello. quick question about your application of CA glue. Most of the videos that I've watched the person applies the CA glue to the side of one board and then sprays the accelerator on the other board and then puts the two boards together creating a very strong bond. However, when you spray the ends of the piece of wood I don't see how any of the accelerator comes in contact with the CA glue. So why even use the accelerator?
They use instant glue to avoid waiting for glue drying time. At the same time, glue is also used. Not as strong as instant glue glue.

EXCELLENT video - you are quite talented!! I plan to make several of these per your technique. I also liked the sled you used to get a straight edge - it is shown at the 5:40 minute mark into the video. Might you be able to share the dimensions of the wood you used? I think that sled ensures a straight edge without worrying about the accuracy of the table saw fence.. I have the same or similar DeWALT saw and the fence is bowed. Many thanks, Larry

Could you please tell me what sort of glue and spray you are using when attaching the sled top to the 2 rails ? This very handy if you need to handle your job immediately. I can't seem to find it in our local hardware shop. Thank you.
