Merci.
What a brilliant setting for such a beautiful piece of music. The harsh outside world may always be there, but we are fortunate enough always to be able to listen to Schubert.
Fantastic. I (hobby pianist and soprano singer) am practising this one myself for a concert and find this interpretation the most inspiring. Thanks a lot for uploading Sabinr
It is like a dead ride on a horse; like der Erlkönig of Goethe. With the interludum from mesure 73 in D Flat Major completely changing the funeral atmosphere before in a moment of hope. Same tonality as the Raindrop prelude number 15 of Chopin. Then returning to C sharp minor and the melancholy. Paul Lewis understands this well.
A rather harsh piano. A softening effect could have been achieved with the lid on and fully closed!! This did not show Paul Lewis's pianism in a good light.
Absolutely beautiful Paul - love your expertise and experience ❤

Which airport is this? I wish all airports had pianos in their lounges - complete with musical scores
Schubert needs a child soul as you. Thank you.
you are with the music.....or with the train to catch.. feel :)))while playing Not by mind>
amazing...this guy looks like Ludwick Van Bethoveen🎉
great version with alfred brendel , maestro brendel ,,
It looks kinda interesting where he's playing at. It looks like he is playing the song at an airport.
If only they had Steinways at airports lol
Bravo! I can’t get why no one plays Shubert. Is due for people ignorance.
webagencyroma : Plenty of great musicians play Schubert! What gives you the idea that “no-one” plays Schubert?
I am on my way to learn this masterpiece but damn it takes time
I know what you mean!
If I add a bar a month, I’m doing well
yes it looks easy but is very very difficult
Beautiful music, beautifully played. But WHY does the camera keep moving away from his hands?
In Amsterdam?
Yey
This piece sounds like it is composed by Bach
Bmw Forlife Does not sound like Bach at all! Or are you trying to be silly?
Not really Bmw Forlife
It does a bit, it could pass as a Bach's prelude in the beginning.
Yea I can see that, but then it gets much more romantic quickly haha.
Yes, it is very Bach sounding;
May I know what is the piano model?
Steinway
STEINWAY
Model D
Another beautiful moment: Angels fly in heaven - relaxing piano music by Natascha Albash Enjoy! :)

Except the noises coming from the chair...
This scene was probably how the union station looked like when it was first built.
What I miss most in this version, is sensitivity & vulnerability....
What a strange observation. Difficult to judge.

he is just like a student... do you think he is great? he is not good
+Eugenie Song Can you better? Nope. So shut it and shove your opinion up your ass.
keep humble
excuse them. Schubert does write for students. 'Keep playing'
