    The Woodlands is really, really beautiful and has everything. Unless things have changed, it lacks the cultural diversity of Sugar Land, Cypress and other master planned communities. But it is the prettiest due to the pine forest where it's located.

    In other words, its walkable. That's what makes the place so great.

    I’ve been living in the woodlands for years. I love it a lot. Our house is amazing but moved to a more updated or newer home. I love how close everything is from where I live. The mall, the restaurants, HEB is highly important so gotta love HEB. I love the waterway and everything that the woodlands has to offer. It is the best area.

    I’m a fan of broadway shows and my husband likes professional sports. We have to travel 60+ minutes to the theater or stadiums. I’m also an outdoors lover, hiking and camping are several hours away too. The airport though, just 20 minutes away, so it’s easy to leave. And the public schools are top notch as long as you’re not looking for diversity (don’t @ me, just look at the demographics and choose for yourself). So some good with the bad for sure.

    It's a nice development, until you leave it and get stuck in Houston traffic. Don't move there if you seek diversity.

    Lived in The Woodlands when I was a kid. Still remember it very fondly and hope to live there again someday. Absolutely gorgeous!

    You'll probably delete this, but before you do, please do your research. The Woodlands, TX was ranked #1 by Niche in 2020 and 2021. Do you want to know where it ranks on the Niche's 2023 list? You'll find it here on page 3 of their 2023 ranking at... wait for it, #55. There are numerous other more credible ranking surveys, The Woodlands never came anywhere near #1 on any of those... That is a fact. People can and will fact check you, so for creditability you may want to stop propagating this falsehood. I'm going to try and be nice here and not use fowl language.. The Niche list is based on public reviews. Public reviews opens the door for paid manipulation and trolling, It can be manipulated. It's just not a great source and never has been... Kind of like everyone who lives in the Woodlands likes to think that The Woodlands High School is one of the best in the country (I've heard that stated to me many times), there is a bubble of delusional misplaced pride here that you really have to weed through to get to truth... Look it's a great community. You have places in Cypress and Katy that rival it and yes even have better schools. Younger people do not want to buy these older homes or those who do tend just find better value elsewhere... It will be interesting to see what comes of this place 10-15 years down the road.

      Not deleting, want differing opinions here, I personally don’t live in the woodlands because of the older homes, but it’s a great place to live that people need to know about

      @@livinginhtx oh suburb wise then yes woodlands 100% it’s actually has a central district and is going very upscale commercially as well.

      The galleria is technically the best but for the average person I think the woodlands Mall offers a more diversified price range.

      @@Jay-kx5cb woodlands definitely number 2 with market street and mall expansion. I’m not a big shopper but I just want ay attention to commercial retail and what it signifies to an area

    Can you do a video on tomball school district? It's unclear when you say that all of the woodlands roll up into the same two high schools. Is that true?

    • @livinginhtx
      @livinginhtx  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Creekside goes to Tomball and all the other 8 villages got to the woodlands high school or college park

    It's also known for being hot and humid, so it's a great place if you like living in a sweaty place. I personally prefer the perfect Mediterranean climate of California, where you also find nice high end restaurants, and businesses.
