Agreed. He sounded awkward back in 2007-2008 when he sang the clean vocals on the first 2 albums.
This....truly the greatest incarnation of this mighty band...josh Gilbert is such a great vocalist in his own right...sad not to see him, Nick and Jordan anymore...heart breaking even.
Either way I'm still a fan..
I used to think Tim was big before his incarceration. Hes now an absolute UNIT.

Most likely when he was in prison he was doing push ups or body squats. He was coming down off his roids during this perioid

That’s amazing! I proposed to my wife in my original as I lay dying black and red shirt with the skeleton spirits on it! AILD was a banded we both jammed to when we first met and they have helped me and many overcome some dark nights I’m happy and honored to have worn it when I took the knee for my wife. No matter what the past we are humans and all we can do is be our best and do better. Congrats on your marriage!!!! AILD FOREVER!!!

Possibly some bad memories from this songs :/ they might feel better and more united playing newer stuff the awakened album was a rough time for them all. But it’s a dam good album 🤘🏻 cheers mate!!!

Watch their round table discussion after Tim was released from jail and they recorded My Own Grave, about where they were all at making Awakened and when he went to jail, and you’ll hear how miserable they all really were. Nick Hipa is by all accounts one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet in the music industry, and he was ready to kill Tim Lambesis, literally hated him. I agree with Daniel Slater III, they probably don’t want to relive much from that album.

I remember the feeling when their set started.. one of the best shows I’ve ever been too.
Hell yeah!! I've seen them 15 times now and every show was amazing.
I swear, finally seeing them and their intro before they all came on stage had to be the most heartraising and most excitement my body has ever felt.

I pray to all the GODS all of them! That these brothers stay together forever through it all I hope there is nothing but love and brotherhood in this band they have been through a lot and the fact that they are back is a dream come true for metal fans like myself there music has helped me through so many true life terrors, I remember in boot camp in my service time we were cleaning the barracks after having to “eat the floor” push ups basically our drill sergeant played “the sound of truth” while we were cleaning the latrine as a little respite I guess and I lost my shit I didn’t care I started drumming and let out a scream all my fellow trainees at the time laughed and then I had to push like a mother fucker but it was so worth it. The first thing I did on liberty leave at the end of boot was went to the local gym with my iPod that was stowed away and listens to 94 hours and worked out. 💪🏻🇺🇸⚔️🤘🏻🔥🙏💯 thank you AILD FOREVER!!!!

Might be a little hard as I believe some of the writing was done during a dark time for the members. Maybe though, the album itself is amazing I wish they would but understand if they can’t at the moment, might be sensitive and shaped by fire is a redemption album, maybe the focus for this moment. Again love awakened and agree wish they would but I shall wait lol.
Nick said on IG that Tim was incarcerated not long after the album so they didn't have a lot of play / practice time with the songs but they plan on playing more Awakened stuff in the future.

probably since he was out of practice for several years and they have been touring extensively since they made their comeback. he is probably easing his way back into it to not harm his voice and plus age I'm sure can play a factor for most people.

Probably TRT, nothing wrong with a test boost as you age it’s actually been shown to fend off heart/cholesterol/and prostate issues as us men age. It’s the tren you wanna stay away from I can speak on that, it’s powerful but truly has the ability mess with your head and mess your health up long term, truly all that stuff can hurt you if you do to much and are not 100% dialed in with diet and health, and can advance health issues if your prone, sadly science isn’t there yet to enable enough safety for people to do what they need to do to love there life with quality and safety, but that’s kinda what happens when you make things illegal without research it’s up to underground labs and they just want a buck as well, it’s like weed, in the 50s it was the “crazy drug” but now I’m prescribed it and it helps me with my ptsd from my military combat experiences and childhood trauma, and lots of people are wrongly incarcerated for dealing it, it’s very sad and they deserve reparations. lol I love your comment though (that man right is on the juice lol)no hate just my own personal experience.
