This song conveys a feeling through both the lyrics and the production of the music. Up to the middle of the song it makes me feel like a struggle, just as if I am trying to "keep on running" but there's something pushing me back. At some point, halfway through the song, I am empowered and the struggle becomes evolves into empowerment. I have no idea how they achieved it but it is absolutely brilliant. I wish more people knew this band. It's so underrated. This song made it to my top 10 list.
That lead guitar sounds like it's tearing it's way through from another dimension. Whilst the bass is stalking and pulsing beneath the drums which clatter and thump above. All brought together by that soaring vocal, clashing symbols and masterful melody. This song is this band at their best. It almost hurts how far from this greatness their last two albums were. My hopes remain high that they'll one day return to their roots. I love that triple snare hit that is all but vacant from their last two records.

I used to listen to this song when it just went out, when i was 8 years old. i didnt understand a single word, but i just liked the rhythm of the song. A few days ago i managed to watch their show in Tel Aviv, and it was such a beautiful closure for me. First heard this in China, teaching English maybe 2010ish. Was one of only a handful of English language songs I heard that made an impression over there - years of missed media, movies and music that were unknown to me until years later. Still feel like I'm catching up, Really held onto this one, it's been one of my favorites ever since.
