      @@Reggiebphoto how do you select your scene to place the figures and the lighting? You’re much more creative than I am. As a kid I had Polly Pockets and I just found some of them and I wanted to take pics of them for nostalgia.

    cell phone also works as an ad hoc reflective surface and has the advantage of being able to provide additional light or surface color as well.

      @@Reggiebphoto The lighting and positioning was helpful for me. My wife wants me to take some pictures of our rings and I know I would have approached it differently. I do have an inexpensive macro lens and will be using that. Thanks again!

      @@Reggiebphoto I’m shooting my first wedding in june, So definitely ring shots! and i’ll be bringing it on hikes, i think. I love shooting textures for double exposures and my girlfriend would like to be able to shoot insects from closer up. I couldn’t justify buying a true macro lens. So this seems like a nice way to open up new possibilities without breaking the bank. Thanks again for the effort you put into making these video’s. I picked up a lot of very useful information from your channel. 🙏🏻

    Great video! I use and carry the Viltrox brand tube and can say it works great. Feels cheap, not as rugged as Fuji brand tube...but It's handled two wedding seasons so far.

    I've done quite a lot of macro photography in my career, and cleaning my object with alcohol and a piece of cotton, with finishing touch with a lens blower, saved me a LOT of working time in photoshop. Just saying...

  • @BoodskiBro
    @BoodskiBro 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    10.1 - Try to clean as much of the dust before you take the shot using a lens cloth and a blower. The less dust you need to clone out in PS, the better!
