To monitor the current outbreak in NSW the DPI should be distributing free sugar shake kits to all beekeepers through beekeeper supply shops.

I guess smaller than a bee, but bigger than a mite.
How many varroa per 300 bees is ok?

id rather just do an OA vaper treatment, with a screened bottom board...... then count the mites on the bottom tray after...... no need to open the hive, no killing or hurting the bees, no need to piss the bees off, no need to use another resource.

that is ok but you do not know how much mites still on the bees after treatment
