Lou Williams to Montrezl Harrell (Lou to Trez)

- The dynamic duo Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams lit up the league this season…OFF THE BENCH. The greatest aspect of Lou Williams’ game is his ability to stop and go, and play at a very out of sync pace with everyone else on the floor. He’s a silky smooth scorer with a game so shifty that most of his teammates seem like they don’t know where he’s going; that is what makes his partnership with Harrell so special. They seem to read each other with the greatest of ease. When Lou needs Trez to slip, he’s already throw the pass before the defense knows what happens. When Trez needs to reangle his ball screen (that’s the primary reason it was the first clip in this video), he’s jamming up Lou’s defender before Lou has even crossed over.
This combo two absolutely detonated on the league. Nobody picked the Clippers to go to the playoffs, and very few even picked the Clippers to win a game against the reigning champion Golden State Warriors, but with the bull in the china shop approach Trez brings to his rolls and dives to the rim, and Lou being the ALL-TIME leading scorer for players off the bench, the really pushed the Warriors, and evidently the league at large, past a point anyone expected.
The way Trez twists and the way Lou turns is almost a dance. As Doc Rivers said: “They just match each other’s speed, they feel each other.” They are fun to watch, and the fact that they both willingly come off the bench is great for young players to see. I hope the Clippers can keep these two in LA together for as long as they can.
The last two clips of this video are very basic, but a little something I don’t want to go unnoticed. Obviously everyone in the league knows that Lou Williams is THE closer for the Clippers, and so a lot of the time, the defense will double or blitz to get the ball out of his hands to make someone else make a play. It seems like a simple play, and the most obvious one to make, but you HAVE to trust the guy you’re throwing the pass to in that situation, and Lou trusts Trez in high pressure situations, and he came through on both plays.

Hey man just letting you know, I thought you were inactive! Your uploads are not showing up in my feed!
Pinning this. Has anyone else found this to be the case?
@@EvinGualberto yea me too
Harrell is the best cutter after a p&r in the league. His timing and his sense of position are amazing.
Bro I love your post keep going and striving please.
I’m a huge fan of your work! Been utilizing these videos to add to my game!
For coaching/future league play, could you make a video showing a variety of Horns sets/actions?
If you like some old school, I loved watching the Kings High Post offensive sets growing up.
If I had to suggest a player I’d like to see, it would be Eric Bledsoe Fantastic Finishes
Thank you again!!!
Another midrange mastery for d’lo pls
Gold as usual
Schroeder to Harrell is going to be so lethal. Go Lakers!
Lmao how'd that go🤣🤣🤣
2019-2020 Clippers 4th quarter lineup :
Lou+beverley+kawhi+PG+Harrell🤔🤔
Jesus Christ!
@@godzillamonsterworld6081 Jesus Christ!
This is just sick. lol
Where is Ivica Zubac ???
Why would they be on the floor at the same time?
@@kingphil4073 I am talking about impact on the game. 😀😀😀
Ivica Zubac has been missing.
Harrel is only 6'8 but he plays alot bigger then his height hes dunking fearlessly and hes undersized
Kyrie Irving fade-away compilation
Jimmy butler should join the clippers since most of them are hustle players with high energy with work ethics that really proves where they are now just underappreciated and most of them real dawgs
ESPN kept telling us that Jimmy Butler was a Team Cancer. 😀😀😀
@Beast Fc ESPN wants Kawhi Leonard with Clippers so bad. 😀😀😀
Acts like he told them, when we all know Kawhi doesn't talk , Liars.
First
congrats
Lol trez is incapable of dunking with one hand.
Gallinari too
@@caiomonteiro5692 I guess it's a Clippers thing
Two handed dunks are more efficient, higher percentage. Harrell is also shorter so it works better for him.
@@AllanB2Smoove true...i was just stating the obvious....
@@howyoudodatt305suey3 I guess you never watch DeAndre and Blake.
