This Unkle Adams narrative is absolutely fascinating to me because he performed at the news channel I work for a couple years ago and I've honestly been obsessed ever since
re: the guitar point I also think guitar being taken off its pedestal a bit is forcing/will force guitarists to be a more interesting, which is ultimately a good thing for music.
13:00 Regarding this tweet, I really like that Anthony reviews any genre. I am here for music, not just for a few certain brands of music. I like that his channel is a place to find music in all forms. Second, I think reviewing any genre allows Anthony to have exposure to many different kinds of music, which puts everything into context, betters his ability to empathize with the visions of many different artists/fans, and ultimately improves his ability to be insightful and worthwhile in his reviews. Plus you don't need to be especially insightful to be worthwhile. Music taste is subjective, and it can be very interesting to hear about Latin Jazz from the perspective of someone coming from American Rock and Hip Hop. Plus, do you really think a piece of music should require some level of expertise to be properly enjoyed/disliked? What about the songs in a genre that bring over entirely uninitiated fans in the first place?
I think the most shortsighted thing about people considering the idea that instruments are dying (from a production stand-point) is that just because you understand music theory and have musical ideas, that doesn't mean you can effectively imitate the creative process or feel. Every instrument works a little different and gets the creative juices flowing in a different way. It just seems limited when you're used to having a sound in your head then making that sound, but time and time again it's been proven that limitation necessitates creativity. Timbre can be vastly different as well comparing a digital to an active recording. What it comes down to is basically just people hyping their shit without consideration that hype dies.

This Unkle Adams narrative is absolutely fascinating to me because he performed at the news channel I work for a couple years ago and I've honestly been obsessed ever since
Anthony you should ONLY review Electronic Japanese Folk Jazz. That last tweet makes perfect sense now

"Let's Argue: Frank Ocean ISN'T an ocean!!! 😱😱😱"
You're *_WROOONG_*
re: the guitar point I also think guitar being taken off its pedestal a bit is forcing/will force guitarists to be a more interesting, which is ultimately a good thing for music.
The little jam you came up with in the beginning is fun af. Please make a full song
Banthony Bantano here. The internet’s busiest music bird.
eventually your whole album will be an intro
