Is it just me or is Patek Philippe a case of "emperor's new clothes" where it's kind of an ugly and cheap-looking watch but the hype is why people go along with it being some "luxury" brand...?
Whilst I love watches I think they all have a case of “emperor’s new cloths”. See some real horrors that come with 200k price tags, Richard Mille and Jacob & co to name but two. Then you see something stylish and beautiful but because it was made in the wrong country it’s dismissed as cheap rubbish.
Why this is so much 10 times better than owning a Rolex, this is a person's real life, Lifetime Achievement Award, if they own a Patek Philippe Watch Stunning Gorgeous piece 😮
As a Person who admires Patek, I'd have a Rolex over a Patek all day long. Some vintage Pateks are nicer than modern rollies, but if it's, say a vintage Datejust over a vintage Calatrava, I'd go with the Rolex. These modern designs DO NOT chime with me
I have a box similar to that one my sister gave me. Real nice and it’s a timex . Really nothing special. I think the invicta watches are the most exciting watches of this time and the price are not that expensive and water proof…etc.
