I think you've made a great decision to settle down with your kids in Morocco. It's a peaceful and beautiful country to raise your children, not forgetting very affordable for Americans with secured income; also, your kids can have better education and learn a lot of things. BTW, I'm Moroccan, too; lived in NY for 25 years and eventually became a US citizen. Then, after 9/11 event and seeing all that horror, I decided to move to Turkiye, 'cause life is too short; we deserve to live better and I think you've seen people in NY still riding subways, going to work at 07 AM coming back home arnd 07 PM at an age of 70 even 75. Wish you/ your kids the best of luck, and if you wonder or have any questions about Morocco, please don't hesitate to ask. Keep well and till then Take care.

Thank you for opening up miss Erin, I'm sure you already know this but it's all over now, be sure that you didn't come here to Morocco voluntarily but it was Allah who saw the kindness in your heart and guided you to a safer haven here and the thereafter and that is the biggest blessing indeed, and it is an even bigger bless for your children as well to grow up rubbing shoulders with muslims, alas I would like to reassure you humbly that I'm just around the corner, I genuinely admire how brave you were to jump into the unknown bearing nothing but faith in that light at the end of the tunnel especially as a lady in this modern world, and most importantly you did so following islam, and for that I will always be there to service and support you whenever you would need anything, we're neighbors afterall 90 kilometers is nothing 😅 let loose the burden of the past and keep rising dear ❤ And as always you're most welcome

Family holds a special place in our hearts, and our society values strong social connections. This welcoming nature is a cornerstone of Moroccan culture, where we strive to integrate newcomers seamlessly into our community. I can relate to everything you are saying here. I am in the same situation with my family, feel like an outcast and until COVID in 2020 I visited Morocco at least once a year for 8 years, I loved it and felt as if I belonged from the moment I stepped out of Marrakech airport. First I toured from Marrakech to Casablanca then through the Atlas mountains for 10 days. Moroccan people are so genuine on the whole and friendly when I returned every year shop owners used to one out to welcome me back.I haven't been now since 2019 for various reasons but will return as soon as I possibly can. There is good and not so good with all people but on the whole I love the Moroccans. I really admire you for moving there and enjoy your videos. Well done you 😂😘🐾🐈🐾🐈🐾

welcome to your country, Dear "Morocco" is your second country. I felt that beyond your moving to Morocco there is a story, because is was not easy to leave every thong behind and come to another country where is a different culture and language spoken, but although you will like our lifestyle and our tradition am sure about. and you can consider us your family and you have to be proud of kids Jack and Carmen because they are so kind and understanding. the one obstacle that you have is the language and when you break that barrier you will be integrated hundred per cent because Moroccan are so open minded and well-mannered. it really was a sad Story but you had to share with. Take care of your small family

Hi Erin, I have been immensely inspired by your courage and inclination towards living a very diverse, insightful life filled with experiences that would equip not only you but your children with worldly knowledge. I commend you for being such an independent, confident, and positive woman. Your humanitarian lens is very evident and I hope you find connections in Morocco that foster that side of you. I hope you make lasting friendships and bonds that cement your footsteps in Morocco. I listened to various stories you shared and my goodness gurrrrl, you are one resilient soul. I wish you all the best in your new place you call home. I would love to see more Moroccans join you in your adventures and share and embed you within their cultural spaces. I am learning so much from your videos! Keep on smiling beautiful, your kids are very lucky to have a mom like you.

Erin, could you please share how you get to Morocco the first time: was it like a tourist trip, for how long? Your stories made me want to visit but I don’t know what is the best way to do it. 💕

Erin, You brought tears to my eyes because you spoke my words, you lived my experiences, and you luckily have a new family to replace you on your loss! Yes, we are your family and I know what is that like, we support you, and say "Go Erin, you are better off without those who don't care and you can be on your own as far as you have the will!" Thank you for sharing! If I can do it, so you can!

I did the protein treatment to straighten my hair. it totally ruined it! looks good for a few weeks, but then hair started breaking off. i embrace my curls now. lived in Morocco since 2020, also moved from the US. enjoy the initial magic. after 4 years, it starts to wear off. considering going back to America. like you, i have no family and am a single mom. living off savings from my job before i quit to move and sell of house.
