Family issues are so complex, so many always feel entitled and empathy is often nonexistent by all involved in many cases. Unless there is abuse involved, l never get involved or take sides. But Alhamdulillah you look like you have found a path leading to light.
I can relate to everything you are saying here. I am in the same situation with my family, feel like an outcast and until COVID in 2020 I visited Morocco at least once a year for 8 years, I loved it and felt as if I belonged from the moment I stepped out of Marrakech airport. First I toured from Marrakech to Casablanca then through the Atlas mountains for 10 days. Moroccan people are so genuine on the whole and friendly when I returned every year shop owners used to one out to welcome me back.I haven't been now since 2019 for various reasons but will return as soon as I possibly can. There is good and not so good with all people but on the whole I love the Moroccans. I really admire you for moving there and enjoy your videos. Well done you 😂😘🐾🐈🐾🐈🐾
Thank you Erin for being so honest about everything. I've been an outsider in my own family time and again - I know what it feels like. This was especially hard when I had a child: other families meet for Christmas, we often met nobody. Now we celebrate Friendsmas every December: We founds friends that enjoy spending the holidays with us. Friends are the family you choose.
welcome to your country, Dear "Morocco" is your second country. I felt that beyond your moving to Morocco there is a story, because is was not easy to leave every thong behind and come to another country where is a different culture and language spoken, but although you will like our lifestyle and our tradition am sure about. and you can consider us your family and you have to be proud of kids Jack and Carmen because they are so kind and understanding. the one obstacle that you have is the language and when you break that barrier you will be integrated hundred per cent because Moroccan are so open minded and well-mannered. it really was a sad Story but you had to share with. Take care of your small family
The decision that you’ve made to move to Morocco alone with the kids is heavy. But it is what it is, this is your new life and with your courage you’re gonna make it and go through all of this, Insha’allah. Again, welcome to your country Morocco ❤️

I hope you make lasting friendships and bonds that cement your footsteps in Morocco. I listened to various stories you shared and my goodness gurrrrl, you are one resilient soul. I did the protein treatment to straighten my hair. it totally ruined it! looks good for a few weeks, but then hair started breaking off. i embrace my curls now. lived in Morocco since 2020, also moved from the US. enjoy the initial magic. after 4 years, it starts to wear off. considering going back to America. like you, i have no family and am a single mom. living off savings from my job before i quit to move and sell of house.

لديك شخصيه قوية جدا في التعامل مع الحياة 👍 تجربة قوية مررت منها وقرار الهجرة صعب لكن بعد العسر يسرا
Erin, You brought tears to my eyes because you spoke my words, you lived my experiences, and you luckily have a new family to replace you on your loss! Yes, we are your family and I know what is that like, we support you, and say "Go Erin, you are better off without those who don't care and you can be on your own as far as you have the will!" Thank you for sharing! If I can do it, so you can!

I went to 🇲🇦 and I have family like I never had in my life . I see 🇲🇦 has my home . I can understand you without going into detail. Love your sis in Scotland 🏴. I just started to follow you and I see it has a big impact for me in a positive way. Much love ❤️

Your story is very touching. I did not expect a person like you to live in this time under pressure and threats. Welcome to Morocco, your second country. I expect that over time you will meet friends in Morocco and be like family because you are a kind and compassionate person. Work hard on your channel. God willing, everything will be fine. You and your wonderful children
You are a strong woman. It's tough to raise 4 kids, and besides that, you have nobody to help you. Keep your dreams alive, and never never never give up. I wish you the best of luck.
The second cat looks scary! Thank you for sharing your story. You inspire me. You’re resilient and not afraid. You’re brave, kind, and a good mom. God bless you. 😊
You are a strong independent woman, you don't need an unsupportive family, you are better without them, Morocco is your home and we are your family
Morocco is your family now 🎉
You are in a country of peace and welcome 🇲🇦😍

I did the protein treatment to straighten my hair. it totally ruined it! looks good for a few weeks, but then hair started breaking off. i embrace my curls now. lived in Morocco since 2020, also moved from the US. enjoy the initial magic. after 4 years, it starts to wear off. considering going back to America. like you, i have no family and am a single mom. living off savings from my job before i quit to move and sell of house.
I mean this in the most loving way ….. you are one ballsy chick ❤️. I would not have the courage to move to a foreign country. I hope you are proud of your accomplishments ❤️❤️❤️
Quelle franchise! Tu as parlé à cœur ouvert.... j'espère que ce sentiment de solitude va se dissiper très bientôt et que tu feras de vraies amies marocaines qui seront ta nouvelle famille ici zu Maroc.
