Personally I perfer renown for the speed but always have to respect queen Elizabeth and Warspite
Aahh the grand old lady, the perfect ship for a bb main who is tired of *RNG's total bs*. The good thing you get, are standard ap shells instead of british ones. I have 40 seconds damage con with play with fire perk -15% to fire dmg. That makes her survivability to fire relatively great, without those you'll die to 4 fires instantly, since she's weak to fire resistance. All of that she is still amazing!
Warspite is the best, my 2nd most played ship after Plymouth which is the best credit grinder imo. Build Warspite for range and accuracy using Cunningham with Ciliax for extra damage and fisher for extra range and quicker reload.

On the note of how ships were more capable in real life than in-game, I always felt BB secondaries should be much more punishing. In reality, a DD would be terrified of rushing a BB because of those secondary guns. In Legends they're so wonky they're nearly non-existent unless you're German lol. I think most secondaries could use some kind of buff or, my preferred thought, let players switch to them and manually operate them
Just got her from the red crates I bought with the Roman currency and I'm really impressed. Better yet, she is my first tier 5 premium and as a relatively new player to the game, that is a big boost.
Warsbite and West Virginia are the best battleship on battleships choices however I say Queen Elizabeth is the better all round ship because of its superior he,reload and AA.
Warspite and Hood are the two ships I want the most but so far the crate gods say "no".
Good game me thinks some of these players on the enemy have no idea Warspite overmatches. Might even be thier first time facing a 15in gun ship,
Also yeah it be nice if it be more real to how good warspite was in life with hitting targets, but then we have players saying well then other ships that were should be too. I hate to see CVs that are as good as the ones they were named after like lexington, Or worse lose tiers all together as that be like how it should be, in real life.

Cant go wrong with West Virginia. My Wee Vee is quite trolly but when she wants to not act up, she's fantastic.
I just got warspite a couple days ago from one of the free spring crates. Already impressed its so consistent.

Surely one of the first to have this ship was Spotted Gecko. Was playing with my brother around 3am when we saw him in a Warspite...it had literally just hit the store. Yeah this is still a great ship with great history in Legends as well as real life. GG Ghost👍

Spartan always says Arizona is the best ship at the tier, and now that I have her, I love her, but Warspite Smash.
It's a travesty that they scrapped her, when we(the US) have preserved so many of our storied ships.
Arizona is good and I like my Arizona quite a bit... but it most certainly is not the best ship at the tier. Just because you have some great games in a ship doesn't mean it's the best ship at the tier. It just means you do really well in that ship. Statistically speaking, Warspite, Queen Elizabeth, California and Hyuga are the best ships at Tier 5.
@DrGhostGames I think Spartan's skill level colors his rankings. I've only been playing for six months, and probably average less than six hours per week. I'd do better with the "statistically better" ships, while he'd know when to go bow or when to aim superstructure.
When ever I want to just turn my brain off and have some fun Warspite is my go to ship. She has yet to let me down.
The Warspite with Running w/Scissors is a smacker.
