Team balancing in this game is so bad, it’s usually you and maybe one or 2 other players with neurons that can fire and 6 idiots who sail broadside spamming HE in battleships, meanwhile the enemy has 2 fully stacked coordinated divisions, this game is one of the few that would benefit from SBMM
I had gotten the warspite from the first crate I had gotten, so I was like, I had 880 dabloons, and I was like, why not mind you? I just gotten on the game and went to check it out. I was like I will see if I can get one of the early access ships, but it was a warspite.
I am so jealous when I see these games. It is probably a combination of shit rng and a skill issue but I rarely get more that a couple citidels even if the salvo looks good. Either that or I get retarded DDs that smoke up as they are dying and take away my shot on a broadsiding Cleveland and giving them free rein to HE spam me to death.
If I had to hazard a WAG on why your salvo spread is worse at short range has to do with a real world problem of bore to range calibration. If memory serves, each barrel in a turret is calibrated so that when all bores are fired in that turret all of the shells come together in roughly the same spot. With battleships and most cruisers that calibration is for something just short of maximum range. Then you also have catenary that is harder to compensate for at shorter ranges.

Wished I was recording until the blue team straight up melted in 6 minutes and we lost.... Oh well. #worthit The good times in this game are definitely so much fun. I had a few with commander Al New Jersey with the battleship Arizona, and death struck 3 cruisers that was broadside non didn't learn their lesson and one of them message me by calling me a sweat, loser I should get a heart attack and die, and favorite word calling me a cheater and started to threatening me that he will doxed me. So I just said, "You were broadside DA." And I reported him for threatening me and being too toxic. Sadly, I can't find the messages, and it was back on the ps4, so I had a harder time record any gameplay without it say oh please restart this, and all of the beautiful content gone.
I dunno why, but I feel that the warspite just hits harder than any other tier five ship, even better than the mutsu which has bigger guns. That and the Queen Elizabeth.
