Thank you Shinedown for sticking with it since the 90s. Mr. Brent Smith and the boys, you have always made incredibly important contributions to the music and arts community. Thank you for making a difference in so many lives. 🧡
@@daphne9016 no way! My friend saw all 3 together last fall too! I was so jealous! I already had AB react to Papa Roach Leave a Light On at Christmas. Christmas is a really hard time of year for a lot of folks and a lot of other folks don’t realize that. Nothing intentional just it’s a time of sorrow for a lot of people unfortunately. AB was kind enough to react to Leave a Light On. AB is THE BEST.
One of the few bands that doesn't let themselves become pigeonholed into one type of music. They've grown tremendously as writers and performers and are better than ever now.
And they get so much flak for it, but I loved Planet Zero and the fact that they actually touched on societal issues. And it sounded a bit more like their older harder music.
I've been following Shinedown since my brother introduced me to them before I left for my deployment. Their music helped keep me sane through all the bs we were dealt. I actually got to meet Brent at a Carolina Rebellion meet and greet and was able to talk to him and tell him my story for a bit and he was so sweet. Gave me the biggest hug. I'd just gotten out of the army a few months earlier and that meant so much to me.
Thank You for your service. My cousin was a 2nd generation Army Ranger and had done 3 successful deployments and on his fourth deployment to Afghanistan he was killed in a ambush with his team and a small group of Afghan Soldiers heading back to their COP. His son was born 2 days prior to his death and he was only a week or so away from coming home. I’ve had another family member who was KIA so I know the sacrifices that you’ve made for your family and I can not thank you enough for all that you have done for us and our country. Again thank you and god bless you. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@GingerGuy93 I'm so sorry for your loss. I didn't lose family members, but we unfortunately lost a lot of our squad and company to OD'S and unaliving themselves when they got out. Probably more than were actually kia in deployment. It's never easy to deal with, no matter how they die.
@@wdaisygirl I know that they travel an ungodly amount. When I go to the airport I got my head on a swivel, thinking “Today is the day! I’m going to get magically upgraded to first class and be kicking it with Shinedown!” Every single time. Haha!
Man AB you finally got a Shinedown song!! This is one of my favorites. So many years they have been putting excellent music out and his voice will never fail you man!
My favorite band. Suggest” A Symptom of Being Human” by Shinedown. Deeper than Daylight off their last album Planet Zero. It’s very powerful, already crossed 5 formats 💯🔥🔥🔥
Dear Katie and Izzy, I never thought I would be leaning on you for help. You always take care of me with loving dignity and grace. I will never leave your side, even when this broken mortal body dies. I will still be your mom. You have taught me so many things about life, love and sacrifice along this journey. I have watched you grow into the incredibly beautiful and talented young women you are today. I am so proud of both of you. Always remember that the days you were each born were the happiest 2 days of my life. Pain is temporary, but glory? Glory only comes when you get to Heaven for being a good person. Take the time to love each other and be together. Always. Be proud of your family and your heritage. Laugh as much as you can. I don’t know how much time I have left. Nobody really does. No matter if I die tomo, or 50 yrs from now, you both will be alright. Until then, let’s go enjoy the ride and be thankful for miracle that is daylight. Love, Mom
