I used to go regularly to the Swimming Pool and use their Sauna And/or Steam Room afterwards. The only time I have been to a Therman Spa was in Radium Hot Springs in Canada whilst touring the Rockies. They were open air pools as big as Swimming Pools and you got into one then moved to a hotter one if you wanted to and yes as hot as a hot bath at home.

The original Roman Baths were closed to the public in the 1970s as pathogens were found in the water supply. A new hot spring source was drilled down to in order to get a pure supply for the new spa development. This allowed the old Roman and 18th century bath complex to be converted into a world class Museum and Historic site. Also the Assembly rooms mentioned by Jane Austin are literally above this complex. The museum covers a large area 4 m under the city at the old Roman Street level. You can literally walk the streets of Roman Bath. The various authorities have done a fantastic job with these projects, I would say Bath really should be high on the list for any visitor to the U.K.

Josh: "Got to thank the bus driver always". The correct phrase in Bristol/Bath, as was heard before you got off, is "Cheers, Drive".
There is now a road in Bristol called Cheers Drive. 😁

The spa was a long time coming and hampered by issues during building. I worked with the council when they were building it and it cost a LOOOT of money to build. But it is good and I’ve enjoyed it about 5 times!

That was brilliant, you should do documentaries for TV, Ashley's infectious personality would be a winner. I'm ashamed to say that I live in this city and have never visited the spa, maybe I will now. You showed everything and I really got the feel of what the place is like.

Oh my freaking goodness. That place is spa-tacular. And this is how real it felt to us ..well me at least. When your camera steamed up, I almost wanted to wipe my screen too--no joke. I was that immersed. Not the first time it's happened from your videos, and for sure won't be the last. Perfect musical accompaniment as well. Ash, sorry you had trouble with the heat. But am so delighted you were treated at such a place. Also, you seemed to utter something about being an angel. No disputing that notion here. None.

I used to live soothingly, without any hassle in the city centers of Brighton and Hove England's 2 storey villa, Milledgeville Georgia USA one storey 2+1 apartment, Hammond Louisiana one storey 2+1 apartment with my roommates cheerful and happily ever after without any security problems , just locking doors of all apartments with 1 key each. Also as everywhere, streets and avenues floors are very clean, washed with shampoos, I used to live inside the apartmens with my shoes on all the time, unless sleeping on the bed intuitively. That is American and British customs and traditions. Even my japanese roommate was astonished when he saw me with shoes in the house all the time in Milledgeville GA USA . I lived with Indian from Hindistan , French, Brazilian, Italian, Japanese, Turkish, Waycross Georgia USA , Savannah Georgia USA students while residing in the USA apartments and student rooms.

Bath in fog looked pretty amazing! Fun fact: fog is my favorite weather. Won't get me in a steam room, however. As a natural redhead, I can't do it either. My skin is too sensitive. Infra red is higher wavelength, lower frequency than visible light. Ultra violet is higher frequency, lower wavelength than visible light. Since energy is proportional to frequency UV is higher energy than infra red. Thus infra red makes you feel warm and ultra violet will give you skin cancer. Hope this helps.

No I could not live in a tiny house. That one was only a size for one person, but even then I want a bed I can walk around, have a bedside table on each side. The view was jaw droppingly beautiful. I could put up with that small space for one night just to drink in that view.

In the tourist cities like like Bath, Edinburgh, Cambridge, York etc parking is always very expensive, difficult to find, and actively discouraged by local Councils. If you don’t know where you’re going you risk getting lost in one way systems and being stung for bus lane penalties and the like. Park and Ride is the way to go.

The hot spring was a holy place used by the Druids then the Romans built the bath on top of it.

Love you guys, but all water is billions of years old, as it's continually recycled.
But you're great and I love watching you both.
