    THANK YOU BOB!! Your thoroughness and enthusiasm sold me on Beier!! I think much of this applies to the USM-2. I CAN'T WAIT to get mine!! I'm guessing by Wednesday.
    I'll be buying a third one from you, as I went and bought a 1850l!! 😁

      It shows in stock at your Store, so I can buy it within the week!

    Hello Bob. Nice set of videos. Have been using the Beier for some time now and will use nothing else! Tamiya take note.. the MFC is so basic in comparison.

    Well done Bob, a very comprehensive presentation and good information. A very versatile unit, but needs some practice I guess .. I still use the Tamiya MFC's, not as customisable of course, but does the job. Could be interested to try .. lots of functionality. Always look forward to your vids.

    I installed the Beier SFR 1, I love it.
    It took me awhile to figure out but I got most of it sorted. I went with SBUS and had to email Beier in Germany several times. They are extremely helpful. I have one question though. I cannot go from forward to neutral to reverse on the stick. I have to go from forward to neutral, back on the right hand stick to switch to reverse and the up on the left stick to actually reverse. Can you tell me how to change that?

    hi bob, I bought a unit of SFR-1, and was working realy well but in the last update for some reason the reverse is not working, I umplug and plug again all the cables but is not working, do you have any ideas for fixed?

    • @HobbyconceptsLLC
      @HobbyconceptsLLC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You may have checked a box on sound teacher that simulates the throttle on a real truck. In this mode the radio stick is only the throttle and you need to assign a switch to flip between forward and reverse. If you have problems finding it email me.

      Not on these first 3 videos. My goal was to cover the basics and show that the system is not as "scary" to set up as many believe. In a few weeks I will do some more videos and cover s-bus hookup, shifting, cruise, and many more lighting effects.

    What is the difference in the sound teacher programs? USM RC2 & SFR1. Do I need both in order to use both boards? I currently have USM RC2 in my Excavator. Was looking to purchase the SFR

    How are you going to do the shifting?

    • @HobbyconceptsLLC
      @HobbyconceptsLLC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can hook the shift servo directly to the receiver on the 3 position switch or run it through the SFR-1 as it does have servo outputs. These videos are just the basics - more to come!

    Turn signals should be on a horizontal switch, not the steering channel.

    • @HobbyconceptsLLC
      @HobbyconceptsLLC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The beauty of the Beier system is you can set it up the way YOU want it!

      @@HobbyconceptsLLC Thank you Sir. That's exactly my point, the indicators should work via a switch, not the steering channel. This is what happens when driving which is exactly what you are trying to achieve., driving the truck in a scale manner.
