Surely Summerville will be really content with his own development at Leeds, he's playing regularly, why would he restart again in an alien environment, where the competition could dent his progress? If clubs want his potential, they should pay more than 40 million, the money is more contingency for what the club are losing, to have a serious shot at promotion, you need class like he provides.

In what world does Bamford add value, a striker who can’t regularly score and injured more often than not. Too high wages for another club to “take a chance” cos that’s what it would be, a chance. Everybody’s fault this one I’m afraid, the past managers who played him when other options were available and the directors for allowing such an expensive situation to happen.
Regarding Archie and his release clause maybe the club and the player himself thought no club would come in and trigger that £40m fee for an 18 yr old player that had played one season out of position in the Championship.

All this talk that Gray didn't want to go is rubbish, why have the release clause put in the new contract if he didn't want to go. Then once he signs for Spurs, Gray said that he couldn't turn Spurs down, plus how he and all his family are all massive Celtic fans. I thought that he was a massive Leeds fan? Players say anything. Release clause was met by other clubs not Archie. He didn’t really have a choice it seems

Club could have put release clause in contact not Archie. For PSR reasons.

We are technically broke, Radz (pay nothing now and pay later) bought players and now we are 190 Million in debt (Not including the Archie deal), we were badly run and this season we will only be able to buy players on the free or on loan. The 49ers have their hands tied, if they keep the main squad together then we should finish in the top 6 but we are not championship winning material.
We still need the follwing, 1LB, 2RB, 1CB, 1ACM and 1ST. And then replace anyone else that leaves.
We are 100% not broke. Far from it. Debts from Radz manageable and we're limited in what we can buy due to EFL PSR rules.

@@garytomas5411 Yeah but their hands are tied to comply with league regulations, we are definitely in safe hands but not this season until all the loans players and high wagers are sold. we have lost a lot of money in the last 3 years. Probably more than we did the first time around under O'Leary\Ridsdale. The 49ers will change things for the better, they are the best owners for a very long time, maybe ever!
