Thank you for another great episode! The 45 single with the Ace/Paul picture sleeve was originally released in Germany (West Germany at the time).

Wow! Another great episode! I had no idea there were 3 different variants of the Polygram UPC codes. Thanks for sharing Mike!

Interesting, so many variations. I also have the Blue label with the KISS logo and Alive in black text with the song titles in silver and my copy does have the brown paper sleeves with the hole. I was skeptical when I first got that if those inners were correct but I'm happy to see that they are. Another great video!

Great information! As a fan and collector for the better part of 45yrs, I've always considered the blue label/black text to be its own label, so to say.. much lighter in color. Where as the standard blue label/silver font has a couple shades from dark blue to damn near black...so is it quality control issues, lack of communication, or truth be known, some ones idea to cause OCD spikes amongst KISS collectors when there was never any intention of differences 😜

I broke out a few of my early pressings (blue labels 2-3 and the first records and film works) to check out the 100,000 years and all versions I have do have the full title on them! My first press has the image getting clearer inner sleeves, my 3rd has the plain brownish sleeves and my filmworks one has the generic Records and Filmeorks inners.

This copy I have is showing 83-85 aspects. It's a UPC sticker on the jacket (no signs of peeling), 704 pressing plant, Sherbourne address, regular Casablanca logo, NBLP 7020-798 on the spine, no 2 Album Set, 53 on the label before the Polygram info, 100,000.
Then it seems to jump to 1985 and has clear plastic sleeves, Truetone runouts, and Let Me Go, Rock n Roll is pressed before Rock and Roll All Nite. Only on the vinyl itself...boy that sounds weird!
    While I didn't open it (I don't think)...I seriously doubt it's Frankenstiened...
It's my only Polygram, I bought it locally, and it is damn near mint condition. So basically except for the 0704 and UPC sticker on the jacket, its identical to a first press...but many of these traits don't make sense for the last 80s pressing that has the songs shuffled.
I hope I don't have you looking for another variant. :)

The difference in the two that you were having a hard time with, is both a font difference, but the harder to find one (I don't have it) also has NBLP 7020 without the MSRP of 798 on it.

That's it! Thank you... I knew that was something that I have noticed about it before, but just went completely blank when the camera was on
