i had the same problem before. what really helped is to bend your knees while going into the spin and make a deep curve on three turn . cuz u need to change all the clockwise velocity into counterclockwise velocity [if u r using backwards crossover entry].
Hi Gabgab, I'm certainly no expert, but it sounds as though your free leg isn't coming around quickly enough. It may help to think of your free leg coming around in alignment with your shoulders, which must be square to the tracing. Also, try to think of the skating foot as the most important thing. The free leg only assists. It's a deceptively difficult move that takes many years to perfect, so don't give up, and keep enjoying skating!

So true!!! I am badly struggling with this part of going into the spin & changing direction so abruptly.
@RockStar246813579 Yes, you do get dizzy when you're first starting. Once you do them routinely for a while, you don't get dizzy anymore.
