well credo died in dmc4 and nero felt useless for that. then he lost his arm and became weak af. then dante called him dead weight so its understandable that he was pissed. its like rubbing salt on an open wound

Man remember back in DMC3 when Dante's Devil Trigger didn't have a defined form so it took the look of whatever Devil Arm you were using. Now Dante and Vergil look a thousands times more badass with there Sin forms

I think it's important to note that Nero in DT didn't overpower Dante and Vergil in SDT. He got between them and held them back for a moment but they deliberately had Dante and Vergil deactivat their DT out if shock. I imagine they knew having Nero push them back could only make sense if Dante and Vergil were in human form. Nero got a lot more powerful but it'll take awhile before he can truly match up his pops and uncle.
I will be honest though if you look at nero's "wings" you can see that each one grabbed the brother's sword arm as they swung, but they had been fighting full strength for 20 minutes I think so I guess that allowed nero to be able to stop them.

I LOVE Nero's Devil Trigger. Beforehand he was just summoning a spectral avatar of his Demonic self, but now he's truly tapping into it. Yet even though he's transformed, it still looks more human than a regular DT. Considering Nero is more human than Demon, it makes sense.

Actually a pretty good development with Neros character. Honestly just saw him as a plot device up until this entry. A badass plot device but a plot device no less. With the events here, he was actually, truly carved into the fabric of the story, as well as become a focus point for moving forward. Nero's devil trigger makes a lot of sense as he absorbed the power of his mechanical arm made of multiple demon parts, and that portrayal of his demon form means he retained the most human form compared to both Dante and Vergil, able to shock Vergil as he wouldn't thought a new possibility would arise like this by absorbing demon parts into themselves.
That doesn't make sense. His mechanical arm has nothing to do with his Devil trigger. It's his second form where dante also has it. Nero would never ascend furthermore since he can't absorb anything on what dante did to rebellion and the sword of sparda. Same with vergil and the fruit. It's obvious for nero to have DT since he has sparda blood on him.
Vergil really needs his own demon sword. Won't get one, though. Y'know, considering that his dad clearly fucked him over. Yamato is powerful, but Rebellion was clearly given to Dante with the intent that he one day use it to absorb the power of the Sparda. Their father was already throwing Vergil under the bus even when they were children. True, Vergil is still Dante's equal, but that's only because Urizen ate that fruit, replacing the newly recombined Vergil's devil trigger with the sin devil trigger.
Actually their father lowkey planned all this and knew that Dante and Vergil would end up together in the end. Giving Vergil Yamato makes sensee with whatt Vergil did with it.
Those who are saying Nero is STRONGER than Dante and Vergil. Think again. The thing that sent them flying by Nero was because of the shockwave emitted by the collision force. And Nero didn't forced them out of their DT. They were shocked and released their DT. And both Dante and Vergil needed to absorb things to tap into their full power. So basically their Majin form requires something basically the swords to tap unto their full power.
Indeed. Plus in terms of reaction speed increasing in accordance with their power means that they would be able to recognise it as Nero and stop their attacks premptively. Or else Nero would have been reduced to paste.
Dante in DT was dominated by Urizen. Dante with SDT and DSD was able to defeat Urizen even after eating the fruit. No ammount of excuses will change the fact that SDT gives them a gigantic power boost, and Nero was able to hold both of them charging full-force at each other in SDT with his DT. If he is not stronger than them now, he can easily surpass them without even using SDT if he trains his demonic powers.

a lot of people say dante is the strongest demon, but i still think that title belongs to sparda, against mundus dante coulldn't beat him on his own power, he needed sparda's power to win, and even against urizen, he still couldn't beat him on his own but needed to absorb the sparda sword onto himself to get the sin devil trigger. both fights were dante's hardest battles and he couldn't have beaten them without sparda, that just shows how powerful sparda really was and is still the strongest demon in the dmc lore

But that doesn’t make it impossible for a real heavenly realm to exist though, they’d just need a point for existing and why they weren’t introduced before

Nero's devil trigger makes a lot of sense as he absorbed the power of his mechanical arm made of multiple demon parts, and that portrayal of his demon form means he retained the most human form compared to both Dante and Vergil, able to shock Vergil as he wouldn't thought a new possibility would arise like this by absorbing demon parts into themselves.
That doesn't make sense. His mechanical arm has nothing to do with his Devil trigger. It's his second form where dante also has it.
Nero would never ascend furthermore since he can't absorb anything on what dante did to rebellion and the sword of sparda. Same with vergil and the fruit.
It's obvious for nero to have DT since he has sparda blood on him.
He retains a mostly human form because he's mostly human, not because he just absorbed his devil breakers

Vergil really needs his own demon sword. Won't get one, though. Y'know, considering that his dad clearly fucked him over. Yamato is powerful, but Rebellion was clearly given to Dante with the intent that he one day use it to absorb the power of the Sparda. Their father was already throwing Vergil under the bus even when they were children. True, Vergil is still Dante's equal, but that's only because Urizen ate that fruit, replacing the newly recombined Vergil's devil trigger with the sin devil trigger.
Actually their father lowkey planned all this and knew that Dante and Vergil would end up together in the end. Giving Vergil Yamato makes sensee with whatt Vergil did with it.
Virgil already has the Yamato and his perfect form, hes strong enough, plus he did stab himself with his own sword and that didnt get him anywhere

Those who are saying Nero is STRONGER than Dante and Vergil. Think again. The thing that sent them flying by Nero was because of the shockwave emitted by the collision force. And Nero didn't forced them out of their DT. They were shocked and released their DT.
And both Dante and Vergil needed to absorb things to tap into their full power. So basically their Majin form requires something basically the swords to tap unto their full power.

Dante in DT was dominated by Urizen. Dante with SDT and DSD was able to defeat Urizen even after eating the fruit. No ammount of excuses will change the fact that SDT gives them a gigantic power boost, and Nero was able to hold both of them charging full-force at each other in SDT with his DT. If he is not stronger than them now, he can easily surpass them without even using SDT if he trains his demonic powers.

a lot of people say dante is the strongest demon, but i still think that title belongs to sparda, against mundus dante coulldn't beat him on his own power, he needed sparda's power to win, and even against urizen, he still couldn't beat him on his own but needed to absorb the sparda sword onto himself to get the sin devil trigger. both fights were dante's hardest battles and he couldn't have beaten them without sparda, that just shows how powerful sparda really was and is still the strongest demon in the dmc lore

the thing is all we’ve been introduced to is demons and the demon world existing but never a heavenly realm or angels, in dmc4 the order may call themselves angels but in reality they’re demons as well, made to promote the idea of sparda being a godly and holy figure. But that doesn’t make it impossible for a real heavenly realm to exist though, they’d just need a point for existing and why they weren’t introduced before
