My mom's system not only dyes their hair, but also every few years gets tattoos. I'm sure you can imagine how long the uproar from deciding what to get can last! Tattoos are fairly permanent so it's not only a huge investment in money that they must agree on, but also a permanent addition to their appearance. They have to first agree on a subject matter, placement, style, colors, size, etc. and also, if possible to make it happen smoothly, who will be fronting for it! It's a process, for sure, and the only way to keep everyone as happy as is possible is to basically have a democracy. However, even one solid objection is a veto. None would do anything so permanent that would cause another so much upset. Anywho, great video, happy to see Daniel, to see you all doing well and that fiery new hair style! It looks fantastic in a very edgy, almost fantasy sort of way. The mix of colors is so flattering on the body and the way it was done, it looks very polished! What our system is meant to do; talk about it with everyone, and let everyone make the decision. What our system actually does: Mia, Alex, Sixx and Tyler band together to block us out and change our appearance. Eg: colouring the hair multiple colours, spending over $300 on piercings, spending copious amounts of money on useless appearance stuff.
Daniel, you should get a binder for when you front, and I notice you wear a beanie a lot of the time, so you could tuck their hair into your beanie. As for the binder, make sure to never wear it for more then 8 hours at a time, if it hurts too much, take it off, and NEVER sleep with a binder on, binders are compression vests, so they can restrict your breathing, and if your not careful, they will restrict your breathing and do some damage to your lungs, so be careful! Love the hair colour by the way!

I sooo recognise this! Getting dressed in the right outfit and style before I get out can be a complex thing with my whole family of personas being involved. But it's also fun. Together we manage to come up with cool stuff that apeales to all of us who are playing a front-role that specific day. Incorporating male styles into the female embodyment/host has been a journey on its own. These days, it feels like a big field to play in, where we can range from masculine to super feminine. It's a big field to balance. And that part of the process isn't always easy, to say the least. But its also very rewarding in simply being playfull. Of all the traumatic and painfull things that are involved in being a a multi persona being, this earea of playing with styles to express, almost always came out in a joyfull way. So thanks so much for this share. Because this is how it works for us aswell😀!

if kit really wants facial piercings or anything theres a few decent fake piercing kits for super cheap that i've seen around, we actually have a really good kit from party city that was about 5 bucks, it really helps one of the members in our system with his dysphoria because he can use them to mimic his piercings in headspace :) love the colour! we dye our hair all the time lol i dont think its been just our natural colour since 2015! -Evan

I know that wigs might imply “dress up” but wigs have become more of an everyday thing for a lot of people just because they don’t want to dye their hair. I don't know what to do. I have one question, are there others who have problems with weight? I mean, we have had really hard time trying to lose some weight. [Julian] We sorta dealt with this with the idea of mtf medical transitioning, only real objector we have if is Clay our protector which mostly is just scared of hrt making us weaker and him less able to defend ourselves. He's fine with that if we learn some sorta martial art that doesn't scale as well with strength so he doesn't feel as weak because there are 4 girls here that just don't vide with the male body, srs he could care less about as far as any of us know.

Except for Sabrina who has body dysphoria everyone in our system is pretty agreeable to tattoos and other modifications. I currently have hair dye but I'm scared to do it myself and ruin it. Also how much do you spend on making sure each part has a distinct look?

We don't have an issue with things like tattoos and piercings because the body experiences constant pain all the time so it is one thing everyone has agreed on to protect the body from such pain as much as possible. I mean there's not much we can do if the cat decides to stick his claws out but no one is going to actively make a decision that will cause permanent harm to the body. Changes that are temporary however we have had to discuss because different alters have different ideas about how our nails should be, how our hair should be, how we should dress. I'm ok with shaving for a part when I'm getting paid to portray a character because I know it'll grow back. Generally though I don't feel like myself unless I have a beard. Some of the alters want to style it different ways or shave it completely but since I'm the one who's fronting most of the time I've asked that they don't mess with my beard. Harrey actually has a mustache but no beard in our inner world but since he doesn't identify with the body anyway being a black guy and also being able to adapt to many different looks he doesn't really care if the body doesn't look like himself.
For the individual who has piercings in the system, would it help if you bought fake piercings that you can wear when fronting, but when others are out they don't have to wear them/can choose to have them on or not? There are no lasting effects, pop a fake lip ring on, for instance, and feel that you look close to how you do in the inner world, and then you can take it off and no one would know the difference. Idk if that would help, and I hope I'm not being to forward or offending anyone by saying this, but it seems to me that this could help.
I don't know if this is something you already own, and this may just be me mentioning it and its just not something that fits in budget wise right now, But there are many many variations of like fake nose rings and fake cartilage piercings. So like more well though out mechanics than old clip-on earring styles (if that even makes sense) but still the same as in its not a real piercing and the freedom of that, if that something y'all wanna look into.
I had the 50/50 dyed hair it was so problematic if you don’t wash it in completely cold water they can bleed together 🤦🏻♀️ I ended up dying it back. My pink/blue hair end up a purple gray at the ends.
Daniel, I'd skip the cold shower! It's so not worth it. If you have a good brand of colour in your hair, it'll hold well and fade nicely to more cool shades as your hair grows out. My colours are usually still pretty bright by the time I have a big chunk of regrowth and enough money to spend on more dyes. And sometimes what it fades down to can be even better than the original colour. Certainly not worth a painful cold shower! Kit, could you get fake piercings? Depending on what sort of facial piercing you like, many types have a fake version too. Like a cuff, instead of a ring, that you can prop on your nostril for a nose ring. That sorta thing. Then that way when you're out, you can style the body more to your liking
If it makes you feel better at all, Daniel, whenever you're out you LOOK more masculine than the others. ❤️ I know it would be a hassle but a binder/right sports bra might help with fronting. I'm gender fluid so some days I need to not have the tatas. 😑 So I wear a binder. Just a thought to make you more comfortable when fronting. You could also pull your hair back in a tail, so you don't keep feeling it hanging down in your face. You could also twist it up behind you so you can't feel it against your back. Or a braid that you pin up. If that's done right it actually doesn't feel like long hair at all. You can also have someone braid it and then tuck it under a hat. Look into girls that display really well as short-haired males. I've seen some really believable short hair from long hair styles for cosplay. Just some suggestions for you or anyone else in a system that would like to feel more masculine in a female body. Since I have that drama sometimes too. 🙃 Thank you for the video! As someone who dyes her hair weekly with semi permanent color, yall should add normal conditioner to the dye so it lasts longer :)

I just came across your video randomly, I’m just wondering, why haven’t you guys considered wigs so you can all look the way you prefer? I know that wigs might imply “dress up” but wigs have become more of an everyday thing for a lot of people just because they don’t want to dye their hair. Some of them are pricy, but maybe it would be worth it? Idk just wondering 🤷🏽♀️

I have one question, are there others who have problems with weight? I mean, we have had really hard time trying to lose some weight. Currently body is overweight and does not feel good to be in, but some how weight does not drop even though we really try to get rid of it. Is it possible that some part is not doing work with others and maybe is eating more than should?? I really thought we are working well together, but maybe I'm missing out something.

[Julian] We sorta dealt with this with the idea of mtf medical transitioning, only real objector we have if is Clay our protector which mostly is just scared of hrt making us weaker and him less able to defend ourselves. He's fine with that if we learn some sorta martial art that doesn't scale as well with strength so he doesn't feel as weak because there are 4 girls here that just don't vide with the male body, srs he could care less about as far as any of us know.
Have you thought about Henna? it's not permanent and can look very pretty!

Except for Sabrina who has body dysphoria everyone in our system is pretty agreeable to tattoos and other modifications. I currently have hair dye but I'm scared to do it myself and ruin it. Also how much do you spend on making sure each part has a distinct look?

We don't have an issue with things like tattoos and piercings because the body experiences constant pain all the time so it is one thing everyone has agreed on to protect the body from such pain as much as possible. I mean there's not much we can do if the cat decides to stick his claws out but no one is going to actively make a decision that will cause permanent harm to the body.
Changes that are temporary however we have had to discuss because different alters have different ideas about how our nails should be, how our hair should be, how we should dress.
I'm ok with shaving for a part when I'm getting paid to portray a character because I know it'll grow back. Generally though I don't feel like myself unless I have a beard. Some of the alters want to style it different ways or shave it completely but since I'm the one who's fronting most of the time I've asked that they don't mess with my beard.
Harrey actually has a mustache but no beard in our inner world but since he doesn't identify with the body anyway being a black guy and also being able to adapt to many different looks he doesn't really care if the body doesn't look like himself.
Hey if Kit would like some piercings maybe you can get some fake ones that you can take off? 😊
For the individual who has piercings in the system, would it help if you bought fake piercings that you can wear when fronting, but when others are out they don't have to wear them/can choose to have them on or not? There are no lasting effects, pop a fake lip ring on, for instance, and feel that you look close to how you do in the inner world, and then you can take it off and no one would know the difference. Idk if that would help, and I hope I'm not being to forward or offending anyone by saying this, but it seems to me that this could help.
I don't know if this is something you already own, and this may just be me mentioning it and its just not something that fits in budget wise right now, But there are many many variations of like fake nose rings and fake cartilage piercings. So like more well though out mechanics than old clip-on earring styles (if that even makes sense) but still the same as in its not a real piercing and the freedom of that, if that something y'all wanna look into.
I had the 50/50 dyed hair it was so problematic if you don’t wash it in completely cold water they can bleed together 🤦🏻♀️ I ended up dying it back. My pink/blue hair end up a purple gray at the ends.
Daniel, I'd skip the cold shower! It's so not worth it. If you have a good brand of colour in your hair, it'll hold well and fade nicely to more cool shades as your hair grows out. My colours are usually still pretty bright by the time I have a big chunk of regrowth and enough money to spend on more dyes. And sometimes what it fades down to can be even better than the original colour. Certainly not worth a painful cold shower!
Kit, could you get fake piercings? Depending on what sort of facial piercing you like, many types have a fake version too. Like a cuff, instead of a ring, that you can prop on your nostril for a nose ring. That sorta thing. Then that way when you're out, you can style the body more to your liking

It's like painting a house. Takes time to agree on a colour and everyone has to be fine with it otherwise it's not gonna be the nicest of times...
If it makes you feel better at all, Daniel, whenever you're out you LOOK more masculine than the others. ❤️ I know it would be a hassle but a binder/right sports bra might help with fronting. I'm gender fluid so some days I need to not have the tatas. 😑 So I wear a binder. Just a thought to make you more comfortable when fronting. You could also pull your hair back in a tail, so you don't keep feeling it hanging down in your face. You could also twist it up behind you so you can't feel it against your back. Or a braid that you pin up. If that's done right it actually doesn't feel like long hair at all. You can also have someone braid it and then tuck it under a hat. Look into girls that display really well as short-haired males. I've seen some really believable short hair from long hair styles for cosplay.
Just some suggestions for you or anyone else in a system that would like to feel more masculine in a female body. Since I have that drama sometimes too. 🙃
