1:12 this myth is technically true, but for the wrong game. in super mario party, the controller rumbles when traversing spaces with a hidden block, only in partner party mode.
Myth 20, the rolls are determined at the beginning of the turn in MP1 is actually true. Save quitting resets it and rerolls. Using save states on Switch will allow you to get better tests for it. Fun fact, the turn order dice are also predetermined, however it is determined by order hit and not by character. What I mean is, say you do a save state before clearing the text, roll and the first person hits a 2, 2nd hits a 4, 3rd a 7 and 4th a 9 then reset the save state. You would roll in different character order and each character will get a different number, but it will always come out 2-4-7-9.
Here's one for you that I've experienced: In Jump The Gun, if you are the one shooting and your partner jumping is a CPU that is at least on Normal difficulty (haven't tried it with Easy yet) you are pretty much guaranteed a win, as the CPU will never fall.
Good stuff! 9:02 Not sure if this is really a myth as I think the instructions actually mention the red coins in the snowballs. 11:40 I wish Jamboree brought back the taunts. Yes, they were annoying, but that was the point. Though, I think in Mario Party 6 and 7, you actually had to unlock taunts.
Fun fact every character in jamboree has special dialogue I noticed it immediately I thought it was adorable especially when boo wants to steal from or for boo
Myth testing is always fun! I’ve always liked these types of videos. This kinda makes me want to submit my own myths to be tested, such as: Mario Party 4: If you get the Bowser Suit from Bowser and then pass his space on Bowser’s Gnarly Party, then some sort of special interaction happens (I’ve played quite a bit of MP4 and never gotten the Bowser Suit even once) Mario Party 6: On Castaway Bay, if DK is currently at the star space and you take the water slide to get there faster, Bowser will always try to shoot down your raft. If Bowser is at the star space however, he’ll leave you alone when you go down the slide. Mario Party 8: You can predict where King Boo’s lair might be in King Boo’s Haunted Hideaway based on where the starting location appears on the incomplete map (I.e. the start doesn’t appear in the exact same spot on the screen in different mansions)
fr, i hate this genre of just giving out common information and calling them “rare secret myths 👻” i also hate how when they get some event once or twice, they immediately confirm it. like bro what i’ve only seen like 1 or 2 good myth videos.
Mario Party Jamboree Myth 1. "All Jamboree buddies can only spawn on star spaces." Myth 2. "If a Jamboree buddie spawns on an active star space, the star will be moved."
Only items in 1 were the mushroom spaces( chance to go again or lose your next turn) and the towns shop stuff. You want to gamble your coins or have a chance to move more or less movement? Then play with the stuff. Helps while maxing your coins. Edit might help with the stars
easy way to mash on joy cons, curl your index finger and slide it across the button really fast. if youre doing it right, you'll be hitting the button twice each time you switch direction
Im gonna see how many of these “myths” are actually done correctly in the video 1. He literally said the myth was wrong in the video. 0:05 (there are mushroom spaces) 2. This does not apply for anyone that actually has a brain, playing against easy cpus doesn’t prove anything. 0:26 3. You did this myth wrong. There IS a different sound effect when landing on a space with a hidden block, not on the map. 1:16 4. This is not definitive proof this is the better strat, since mashing overall gives you more precision, (also i can tell you weren’t mashing at max speed) 5. This is one not true, 2 rounds of testing isn’t really confirmation (im fairly sure there are certain holes that don’t have this same logic) but also you said get in the hole, you never got in the hole during these shots. 4:48 6. Unrelated, but stuff like 8:43 is just dumb, you’re basically showing people how to cheat, and these mostly aren’t myths, just things either made up or a subscribe plug. 7. 10:50 Playing against cpu’s isn’t proof. 8. 13:05 PLAYING AGAINST CPU’S ISN’T PROOF Most of this video is just not myths or him playing once and going “myth confirmed” despite not playing against real humans
While I agree with you on some points, some myths are obviously meant to be against CPUs. Like clearly the Squared Away and Hot Cross Blocks ones wouldn't work against real people. The myth is about predicting the CPU's patterns. That being said, I think it would've helped if he ran the tests a few more times and made it clear it was against Master level CPUs. Of course Easy CPUs would be extremely predictable.
While I agree the results in this video are very indecisive due to sample being WAY too low I HEAVILY disagree on your 2nd, 7th and 8th points. It's obvious those myths can only work on algorithms which are unable to learn and adapt to user's inputs unlike actual people. I don't see how this would debunk the myths
8:06 I‘m pretty sure, once it is your turn tho, the number is pre-decided, so your dice roll doesn’t actually do anything. Because I remember loading savestates as a kid playing with cpus and getting mad over it.
20:28 King Bowser’s Keep only has the highest percent of blue spaces at the very start of the game. By the end, nearly the entire Bowser Byway is turned into Bowser spaces. The myth is still wrong though.
#18 I immediately said busted because of a horrible experience on western land where I almost never rolled above a 5. I only got bigger than a 5 twice with a 6 and an 8, despite the use of double dice multiple times Also #33 is conditionally confirmed, because when he gets fire breath and the punch attack, he'll use them to hit you in the corner.
20:18 I learned the difficulty is based on how easy it is to move around the map Rainbow galloria and bowsers keep are big areas thats why they are high
8:22-9:00 i want all of you to search-up a youtuber named King of Skill. Look at EVERY SINGLE ONE of his mario party videos. Look for the parts of the video where he's playing a button mashing mini game. Then, compare it to Tlaw and their massage gun trick, and then ask me if there's a god.
Funny you said that one about standing in the corner and big bowser can't get you I tried it twice and Both resulted with me getting destroyed You sure that's confirmed true
12:03 everytime I played this minigame I go for the first key and door and win everytime, my friends tried it when I wasn't playing and it didn't work only when I'm playing
The Mario Party 1 dice toll thing is different. In the first game the dice rolls are determined as soon as the turn starts. That means it doesn't matter at all when you hit the dice. In Mario Party 2 onwards the dice rolls are determined when you actually hit the dice. This is pretty easy to confirm using an emulator and save states. In Mario Party 2 and later you can create a save state before hitting the dice and reload it to hit the dice for a different result. In Mario Oarty 1 this doesn't work and even if you reload the save state the dice roll will be the same. You have to actually save the game, quit to the hub and reload the game in order to get a different dice roll
13:32 Actually there's hundreds of people that plays this and if you never played it then you have no skill or intelligence at all, is a wonderful experience, and anyone that trash talks about it is just a pity loser that loses actual games, came up with games that they only win, but when they lose, they change the rules to benefit themselves until they don't want to play anymore, how dare you talk bad about such a fun mode? Is a marvelous game, is a cool satisfaction blowing Bowser's face, and has awesome minigames that you'll NEVER play anywhere else!!! Except Ball Volley, if you or one of your teammates is not good at it, JUST GIVE UP...
You should test actual myths next time. Don't waste my time with obvious things like "there are no items in mario party 1" or stuff that literally has in-game achievements for completing.
This video was a lot of work! If you enjoyed it, be sure to subscribe for more great content! Which was your favorite myth?
For the 46th I didn't know he would be scared if i wasn't Boo because i always pick Boo when we can
1:12 this myth is technically true, but for the wrong game. in super mario party, the controller rumbles when traversing spaces with a hidden block, only in partner party mode.
I'm pretty sure it is the same with Bad Luck Spaces.
Interesting, I'll have to test that out!
@@TLawYou don’t have to test it out, the game itself tells you about it while you’re playing lmao
the commitment to prove billy wrong is insane, story modes take forever to s rank like you did so major props to you bro

11:50 - Fun fact: in 8, you have to shake the Wii Remote to taunt... and it's unlockable rather than being available by default.

You’re supposed to read the instructions? Whoops 😅
00:35 The fact that it happened once doesn't make it confirmed.
Myth 49: I played so much Mario Party back in the day I got a huge blister and eventually a callous on my palm from it.
Fun fact every character in jamboree has special dialogue I noticed it immediately I thought it was adorable especially when boo wants to steal from or for boo
#20 is true. If you use save states instead of the game internal save function you'll get the same number each time.
No
@@AxoTheGamerYes it is. Also works for other mario party games. The dice rolls are determined at the beginning of each turn.
Things with Achievements are not Myths
9:02 Bruh, this ain’t a myth. It literally shows you that the big piles of snow have red coins in them at the start of the minigame
