  • Just starting Wixoss and trying to get a better grasp of game concepts and how they play out in gameplay and deck construction? This video series aims to give a quick, concise introduction after you've figured out the basic rules and are looking to take the next steps in understanding the game. While I'm not the most elite tournament grinder, I do have a pretty good grasp of the basics - let me know if there's any topic's that would be helpful for me to cover!

Not sure if anyone gets this deep into the description, but if you did, thanks! This video was honestly one week of scripting and recording, followed by 2 weeks of procrastination, followed by roughly a day and half of video editing to finish it. Definitely not the most efficient process!

Yep! There's definitely more on the way, even if I don't have the fastest release schedule.

Good to know I'm approaching things properly for the archetype

"Oops, all removal" is legitimately an important deck - it's a surprisingly solid starting point for aggro, and it's something a control player needs to know as well, so they can figure out what they need to do to survive against it.

Currently playing a mostly blue center Umr deck focused on activating effects everytime a signi moves from one zone to another. It's pretty solid but I was thinking of building something more aggro and red focused to switch things up. Solid build here man. Thanks for sharing.

Umr is a really cool LRIG, although like most Interlude LRIGs her support kind of drops off for a bit. She's still solid, though - deleting a SIGNI zone is a great on-play. And yeah, trying aggro is a good idea. Even if you end up finding it's not a play-style you enjoy, you still learn a lot about how opposing aggro decks are built and function.

Per the usual, you managed to say things that I try to say in 1 hour in only 5 minutes. Keep killing it! Also thank you for the unexpected shout out

I figure I can't compete with you on long-form Wixoss content, so this is the niche I'm best-suited for. From what I've come across, you're definitely one of the best english-language sources for Wixoss info and analysis!

Sad that they probably wont bring the older cards... I want to play Key Selection

I really like Diva, but yeah - each format definitely brings something unique to the table, and it's kind of a bummer to miss out on the older formats. Still have my JP Key decks, though, and if nothing else, Diva's doing great at bringing more english interest to the game.

At the moment I've only got 2 or 3 video ideas planned for this series, but it's definitely something I'll keep expanding as I come up with ideas. There's definitely plenty of topics it could end up covering.
