Love how consistent you are at maintaining, over all your videos, the simple, repeatable components of a solid golf game. No matter how often we *think* we think about these things, it’s always effective to have those fundamentals reinforced. Thanks for this channel, man!
Yes - it’s a course mgmt system first & foremost. Then allows you to track your stats. Here is a review I wrote to learn more: www.wickedsmartgolf.com/blog/decade-golf-review
It educates the higher handicap on course management and this alone could save you plenty of shots. Also adapt the numbers to your net score. Also if you practice the combines on the app you will 100% get better.
@@andrewbaldwin9343 couldn't agree more, I love all the practice tips, the mental stuff is amazing, stat tracking, and of course the principles of Decade. Glad you're loving it!
I think the 5 things are all great but its not my 5. It depends were your strengths and weaknesses are. Practicing chipping for me is most important. Short game is where it’s at, for practice. It saves a lot of strakes and helps with alignment and impact. Something no one talks about is using shorter clubs. Pro’s dont talk about this because club companies are always selling club with more distance, i.e longer clubs.
On TV they talk about pro's missing in the right places all the time. That obviously means that if you miss your shot, leave yourself with a fairly simple up and down. Decade talks a lot about how to pick your target and it's based on knowing your dispersion or tendencies. It's game management and is backed up by statistics but the simple answer is to aim for the fat part of the green or fairway. Don't go for sucker shots and avoid hazards. More pars and fewer penalty strokes add up to better scores. For high handicappers, eliminate penalty strokes and minimize doubles. It's all relative and golf is a challenge at every level. That's why it's such a great game.

Really appreciate it man! I love golf & try to keep it simple in a world of information overload. Thanks again for the support
Do you enter your rounds in this app? If so could you explain how that works?

Might want to tell your editor it's "short-sided" for future videos.
👍👍
I just don’t see how it applies to a higher handicap.
Decade is definitely geared toward more consistent players, but even if you aren't ready for the program these 5 tips can definitely help.

This is literally the definition of lowering the score for high handicappers.
