I actually really appreciate these raw unedited photos, I am getting more and more insecure about my skin after always seeing idols with perfect, spotless, pore-less skin so knowing that they aren’t always perfection makes me feel more comfortable

The thing most people don't understand is: skin will always look like skin. Makeup usually looks like you're wearing makeup. When you see influencers and idols wearing this perfect, smooth, flawless makeup, keep in mind its probably fairly edited

Some people create idealized versions of their favorite musicians in their head and forget that they are just people too. I think we should remember that they are only human and not put so much pressure on them to be “perfect”. We should love them and their flaws. Personally, seeing someone’s flaws makes me feel more connected to them and just happens to make me feel more attracted to them.

Every SKorean tv show has filter (idk what to call it 😅) on their camera. They also fix the idols' voice, so thats why sometimes their voice on tv isn't the same with their voice on live.
Idk why some ppl do really hate on them for that it just pretty normal no body has a perfect skin we all get face pills and some times scares it such a normal thing that I get shocked by some fans ( fake fans ) especially Koreans ones for there beauty standards like some comments and hates that do really piss me off it such a normal natural thing to have pills in Ur face not such a big deal ...
I know that looking flawless and having a clear skin is a part of their job, but it's refreshing to see their unedited pictures for once. For many teenagers out there who are into kpop, this can be a good example that every human has flaws and they shouldn't be too discouraged about themselves, and the flaws are what makes us human💕. All of these idols are seriously beautiful and amazing.

The reason why people might be so surprised to see idols also have textured skin is because all of their online pictures (fancams too) that circulate on forums and fan pages are heavily edited before posting, by those who take them.
I guess there are also filters used in mvs , because everything looks way to smooth and perfect in terms of image.

it’s almost physically impossible to have perfect skin; no clogged pores, no acne, blemishes, etc. with so much makeup continuously packed onto their face, long schedules, and lack of sleep, it’s absolutely normal and human.

This honestly just shows them being more human, which I think is really important for kpop idols to be more accepted and show that they can’t always be perfect, like I might not look like cha eun woo, but I do have some acne like him even if his company spends thousands of dollars a year to keep his skin “perfect”
Don’t forget that a lot of them have to go through lots of stress, have exhausting and unhealthy schedules and also might be going through unhealthy diets, which worsen their skin health.
