This is just what I needed to swap out my blown speakers and tweeters. Thank you!

So glad it helped! Now if your factory amp goes out, I have a video of how to bypass it with the harnesses in the trunk. Just in case. My amp made a buzzing sound so it had to go!

I’m changing out my door handle on a 1998 mk viii, I think you were missing a black rubber gasket that goes around the perimeter of the handle. It’s the video I needed to watch though. Thanks

Yes! That was missing. This car was side swiped in the past so the repair facility must have forgot to put it on. They used a non lsc door and rear quarter and filled in the body molding where the chrome was with bondo. To look like an LSC. That’s why that trim had that black staining.

It’s been a while since that repair. Can you tell me which part I was dealing with?

@@HammerWrench yeah the only problem I have is I can’t get the clip to stick to the mechanism the metal piece you had to look for is missing so the clip just falls off

Is it the part that clicks over the rod or the part that snaps into the hole? If the snap in is loose, widen the snap tabs a little. If it’s the part that clicks over the rod loose, plier it closed a little. That may help.
