She's my amazing angel Paula Deen! I just made her world famous mac and cheese recipe for the family. We had it with breaded Southern fried chicken and huge bowl of summer garden salad. Finished it with her equally famous peach cobbler! The family loved it and we all love you Paula Deen!
This is probably one of the most famous and popular Paula Deen signature dishes. She's amazing and no wonder her new book is number one. We love you Paula Deen!

I miss her show too. She messed up by what she said, but she didn’t deserve to be vilified like she was.
She was honest about what she has said in the past and it is really a shame that being truthful led to her being removed from TV. I really think what happened to her was overblown and I'm black too.
What does the color of your skin have to do with this ? I bet your skin isn’t actually black as well. Have not seen that many people with real black skin, more of a dark brown/mocha.

my boyfriend called me at my shop several years ago to say he had to go through a demo cooking lesson with a lady that had a southern accent and was making comfort food. he went on and on about it not telling me who the guest chef was in orlando.
I said "OMG that's Paula Deen!" I was so jealous I wasn't there. thank you for my autographed copy of your cookbook that you gave out to Publix employees at orlando convention center. I snatched it from him asap and it is mine :)

Paula Deen helped me when I was moving out of a homeless shelter and into an apartment. She sent me several mixing spoons, apron, can opener, and a wonderful pan with lid, plus her season salt.
She didn't know me but I will always be grateful..

A big hit at the pool for friends and a bunch of kids . Used all cheddar and turned out great. Skip the hot sauce . Chopped scallions and jalapeños and mix it when done .. hit for the adults . Thank you Paula !

does that mean that all blacks are racist. I have very good friends that are my family and they are black and they hate when all of the young black kids use the n word. The N word over the years have had many different meanings so that word I feel has lost its punch over the years. Why is it that it is okay for black comedians use words that could be offensive to other cultures but if a white comedian uses any derogatory words there is an uproar against them. Maybe we should look at the person for who they are and not listen to the media I swear the government and media keep a wedge between all of us. Company is coming so I just made this world famous mac and cheese recipe! Always a huge hit! Today will be accompanied by some nice beet greens, summer peas, corn on the cob, huge bowl of summer garden salad and the meat dish is pork shoulder steaks. They have been marinated in a bourbon honey garlic brine for the bbq! Dessert will be her equally famous peach cobbler and those frozen chocolate dipped bananas! Thanks for the timeless recipes and we all love you Paula Deen!

We use Colby jack cheese on the top and hoop cheese from a local farm. My granny always topped it with basil

I start with a roux and add cheese, salt and pepper. Your way is faster. I'm going to try it. I'm so sorry about the hateful comments I've seen. These foul people should look in the mirror. That's how I do it as well! I have always started with a roux, and I've never thought anything of that and just assumed most others did the same. Turns out, I think we're in the mac and cheese minority.

Here in Sc (and other southern states)....a lot of black pple do not make a roux but white pple do... but up north, white and black make a roux. I hate to put color in it.... but that's my honest findings. I find it so fascinating, but I'll eat it either way as long as the kitchen is clean and the food is seasoned. 🤷🏾♀️😍

The cheese in the bag is separated with tiny tiny wood chips so that the cheese doesn't stick together. So I stopped buying cheese in a bag. Also it doesn't melt as good. Hope you're reading this Ms. Paula. OMG! Just realized this video is from 2009, but I gotta taste for mac and cheese and Paula is the only one that can make it as good as my mama and my grandmama.
