    As a Graphic designer with 10 years of experience this is amazing. I agree with you there is no 1 way solving something in Photoshop and it's a matter of preference. I'll be taking notes on your approach here thanks for your clear and precise tutorial. Definitely helps with my future mockups
    Also, do you have tutorials on how to create realistic paper prints such as :emboss, deboss, letter pressed, textured paper etc. We'd be interested to see your approach to that. Thanks!

    Please do a video on color management, especially concerning printing preparation AND appearances on monitors (online applications). This is such a complicated topic and nobody seems to have the ability to explain it in a reasonable way. I bet you could!
    Cheers!

    • @PoisonousRakun
      @PoisonousRakun 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good suggestion... As you said it is extremely complicated. Different factories have different conventions and adjustments on their printers and printing methods. On top of that, there are hundreds of monitor models that show colors in a lot of ways. On textile, especially ink prints, the only best way is to have a color palette (most likely Pantone) available for both the designer and the factory. This minimizes the sampling cost... and as it always is, it also depends on the client to decide which color is perfect so it is hard that any designer and factory hit the print in one sample. Usually there are variations included on top of the primary design. At the end of the day, it is the customer who decides the final print... and pay for the costs. IF you want it to be color standard before it goes out to the factory, I suggest using channels for each color in the design. This way the factory can either print in multiple passes (once for each color) OR just do it inkjet style. I think the best way to prep our work for any printing is to actually work with the printers and actually use their standards on your files/design... whichever technique applies.

I wish my uni teachers would be as good and as considerate as him with their teaching methods.

    This would be a tough one to master, but as I sell tshirts I definitely plan to work on it. I'm trying some of your techniques in Procreate, and some in Gimp where possible. One step further that tshirt designers should take to go above and beyond: buy the shirt with your design so you can see how the color affects it based on the printing method.
