Happy Opening Day, Love the podcast, and I am loving the new raised knocks, and all the tips and strategies from this podcast, Good Luck to all you guys this Fall..
Feels good being first😎Michigan season started today and my target buck showed just before daylight (headed toward a heading area) yesterday! Good luck to you guys this year! Wish me luck on this cold front Friday/Saturday 🙏
I may be biased, but the first 20 minutes and the hunters story was one of your best...haha All kidding aside, great episode to kick off 2024! With my archery buck down already, hopefully I can fill your inbox with pics and info on my experiments with all your scents the rest of my season.
Great podcast hopefully my big buck shows up he disappeared in September. I've seen him on a piece of public since them. But imma hunt him on the public just waiting for a good wind/cold front to make a move on him
Yup, like I said David’s whacky facts are great, he needs to join Warren on the whacky fact segment!! Opening day is upon you so good luck and shoot straight! Make sure you have more than 3 essential items in the stand with you since I need them all!! And yes patience is a virtue right now, mature bucks will be moving around in further ranges very soon! Later guys!
Warren said he had a farm that needs 20 does taken off of it. 1-1 or 1-2 is generally accepted as a good buck to doe ratio. My question is how do you know how many doe to kill? Are you taking a head count on them or inventory through trail cams? Or is it more of an estimate? If so how do you get an accurate estimate? Curious because we have some ground with a load of does and few young bucks with very little mature bucks, mostly timber so we can’t sit on an ag field and count does and bucks, and most does look the same in most cases. I know we need to kill some doe but how do you guys determine how many? -Taylor Carney, listened to every single episode, started listening when there were just a few episodes.
Great episode again. Loved David’s wacky fact.
It made my day hearing you tell the story of how I found my shed. Keep up the good work guys. love the content.
What a great opening day listening to RHP while at work, wanting to be in the woods, but good luck to everyone this season!

I'm traveling 4 hours north to the northern Maine woods in November to hunt bucks I have no prior history with and will enjoy every bit of it
My favorite trait in a buck is big nasty brows! A buck with split brows and big kickers off his bases... 🤤
