Just want to thank you for your vids. Im shopping for the right flashlight for me and the flashlights you reviewed seem to be the best on the market and you did a an outstanding job explaining all the features. Keep up the great work!
Hey - great review and video! I received an MH20 as a gift, about 4 or 5 years ago. Pleased to report this excellent flashlight is working perfectly and I use it regularly to this day, with the same 3400 nitecore battery, and it holds a charge like it did when new. This light has stood the test of time and use. Shame they don't make it anymore.
awesome light! Picked one up for my birthday along with the UM20 and i-2 chargers. Nabbed 2 extra 3400mah 18650's as well. Brilliant light. With my EDC I carry an extensive first aid kit, iPad, headphones, iPod and my PS Vita. So I carry a couple external batteries as well and this flashlight fits the bill for my set up along with the UM20 USB charger to charge backup batteries that I may burn out just completes my light load out. I'm in light heaven! Top review as usual brother.
The light blinks as in the volts of the batteries, so if the battery is 4.2 volts it will blink 4 times then 2 times. Or if the battery is at 3.9 volts it will blink 3 times then 9 times. Thanks for the video
Great review and due to it, I purchased one of these and I absolutely love it. I feel Nitecore is underrated. I have done a lot of research and for the money, lumen count and the longevity the light can stay on the highest setting, Nitecore was the best brand, which outshined (Yes, I said it..lol. Sorry for the pun.) Olight and many other brands. Thanks again for this review and keep them coming. I will officially subscribe. Keep it up!
Great video and review as always, Ben. This is a little beast of a light! I actually prefer the tail switch, because I don't really care about tail-standing my lights lol. If this light had the same exact switch, but on the tail instead of on the side, it would be perfect for me. I'm not knocking the light at all because I'm sure it's great, but it's just my preference and what I'm used to.
Love the light, hate all the modes. I've seen on some forums people mod their flashlights I wonder if the modes can be changed. Thanks for the Deal alert.
Excellent review. Just a quick message to say thanks for all the reviews you do. So useful and honest! Top marks dude :-)You are costing me a fortune though haha.
I had this flashlight and thought it would be great for EDC but I didn't like the ergonomics of it. It is very short and top heavy with the big reflector in the head making it quite difficult to hold in the hand. I much prefer my Nitecore P16 or EC20 for night time walking or for EDC I would use the Thrunite T20 or ti3. It would be cool if you could review the Eagletac DX30LC2 it looks like a great EDC flashlight.
I like that light but not sure how I feel about not being able to change batteries, I have been carrying the thrunite archer 2c v2 and I really like that light, it's 40.00 and 850 lumens and 4 modes. Maybe I will take a chance sometimes change is good. Great review as always.
Kigai11 the thrunite archer series is great as well. i like to have a backup that takes standard batteries but my headlamp does so that is typically my backup.
Thanks for the awesome review. What do you think about the Nitecore TM06? If I were to purchase the MH20, would I have much of a use for the Nitecore TM06. I like the more "flood" types of light. I understand that the TM 06 is also a bit larger and heavier. I am just curious if they are both a couple of good lights to have on hand.
great job ya sold me but I wonder if after buying this light and a mh27uv, so you definitely came through on those promos. an unrelated question I have is being you might have handled them both, what light do you feel has a tighter beam, less spill , and the further throw in which I could look up. The well defined, tighter beam is a big thing for me so, my question is what should I get? jetbeam's 3m pro or the Klarus xt11s ? I am a nitecore guy. I know this but I believe they are within about 100 lumens of each other. intensity and throw is what I want. the mh27 out throws both but I want one of the two I'm asking about, NC xt11s or JB 3m pro ? thank you for the great promos. I do enjoy them.
X-Files was JUST A TV SHOW MAN. You're not Mulder or Scully. You're never going to need a laser-beam to help you hunt down a fuckin' Yeti. So GROW THE FUCK UP ALREADY..."SLIM BEAM!"
I'm interested if this flashlight MH20, it can be turned on (LED) while charging ? I intend to use beacon mode during charging. Some wild animals keeps a certain distance from my food next to my tent. :) Thanks.
Nice review! You got the battery status wrong, it doesn's show percent, but voltage. Fast blinks is volts, slow blinks is incriments, so in your case 4.0 volts.
Nice review. I want this light...however even with the coupon code, it's not a very good deal through GB. It's sort of frustrating when products are offered and come with no battery as well as no charging cables. In the end, I need to buy those separately. I will look for the light that comes with an inclusive package of charger and battery for the same $79 price. It's not worth saving 30 bucks when I have to take the time and extra money to get other items it needs to even work. Keep up the great reviews however.
Ben, I want to have the ability to charge all my devices with an Anker solar charger. I don't think Anker sells an AA size battery charger. Is the battery in this flashlight interchangeable with a standard AA battery? You see where I'm going with this, I want to use the Flashlight as a battery charger for everything in my BOB. Will that work? Do they sell the batteries separately? Thanks.
great light when it works i have 2 and both work sometimes even bought nitecore charger for batteries, still have problems with it. 100.00 a pop is to much for something that always has problems
just ordered mh20 an p12 "new"version I already have ec4 an tm36 kinda sceptical about mh20 cause it's small is it worth it took me 2 days to look at ur reviews lol great videos ...tm36 is a beast tho I call Batman from time to time...
why u need a charging station? its chargeable directly to the light. i have the olight s1 baton with charging station and seriously, its not as convenient as direct charge using micro usb to the light
Is the integrated charger a smart charger? can it be over charged? I want to hook it up to a solar panel and just leave it until i need it. I just want to be sure I wont damage it by leaving it plugged in for long periods of time.
nice light you had me totally. sold tell i saw the price tag if it was $20cheaper it would be on the way to my house im going to stick with my lux, redline, maglight, nebo but then more i think it is only 20$ more the price of 3 drinks
I really like your videos I'd like to buy this flashlight but I'd like to know how nightcore customer service is and if something went wrong with the flashlight how is it to send it to them to be fixed Thanks
Mine arrived a few days ago. Very happy with it. Love the compact size and the functionality they put into it. The coolest torch/flashlight i have ever purchased. Just attached it to the outside of my EDC pouch I have just setup. :-)
Carter McLaughlin both great lights. depends on if you think you will use a usb rechargeable light (rechargeable with a solar panel for example) or if you prefer something that takes standard batteries.
Ben, Great review on a Great Flashlight, However GearBest has lousy customer service, poor delivery if at all, placed two orders on may 30, 2015, only have received one, too much trouble dealing with a Chinese Company......
ben terwellen sorry you had so much trouble. I know they had an issue with your address not matching or something. most have no issues. at this price it is hard to beat and worth the wait. thanks for watching and the input. anything i can do to help let me know.
god!!! there are so much brands for same lumens and led make, please suggest me for something >1000 lumens , i live in india ,i want pocket size ,cylindrical perfect size, not long same size as say mh20, dont care how many memory or modes are there, all i care is its has durability and good quality and good lumens
Just want to thank you for your vids. Im shopping for the right flashlight for me and the flashlights you reviewed seem to be the best on the market and you did a an outstanding job explaining all the features. Keep up the great work!
+Doug Dobkowski thanks for the comment. I have a flashlight playlist with my favorites ;)

because of your review I bought mh20 and i really like it!
awesome, thanks for letting me know.
I will be getting one too and maybe 2.

Just bought one, looking forward to using it when it arrives. Vids like this helped my decision, cheers.
+Jogo Lock nice
Turbo mode! My oh my. This looks like a great light. Love that it's rechargeable.
Armed Rogue yeah, great features and great light.
Just got my Mh20 yesterday. I love this thing. It's amazing. Very good video.
+TheDigitalcrack very nice light for sure.
Great review and due to it, I purchased one of these and I absolutely love it. I feel Nitecore is underrated. Looks like a solid flashlight at a great price.
Survival On Purpose nice to be able to charge the lights using a solar panel or battery bank.
***** Today or tomorrow will be that one. Holding it in my hand as we speak.
Nice review man, I bought one. Now I own like 10 nitecore's my fav flashlight co. Thanks again for the review
+04mach1speed can't go wrong with that. thanks for the comment.
Awesome flashlight! Plenty of brightness to cover the darkness! LOL to the ending!
+Jason McDaniel :)
thanks for the video, I have my flashlight for two years and just learned all the functions, LOL
Mh20 is that good?
Great video and review as always, Ben. This is a little beast of a light!

I'm not knocking the light at all because I'm sure it's great, but it's just my preference and what I'm used to.
kpw528 i agree, all tail switch lights should operate like this.
Love the light, hate all the modes. I've seen on some forums people mod their flashlights I wonder if the modes can be changed. Thanks for the Deal alert.
Alex L that would be cool. that is why i like nitecore. their modes make sense. you can do a lot with a little learning curve.
Excellent review. Just a quick message to say thanks for all the reviews you do. So useful and honest! Top marks dude :-)You are costing me a fortune though haha.
+Tempest500 sorry about the pocketbook but thanks for the support!

Nice review as always Ben and a nice light. I have to say I like the EA11 a little better.
good review thanks - I would buy this simply because it has a recharging access port, which is a BIG plus.
Awesome review and thanks for the coupon , I got this light for $49 bucks , thumbs up !!
+Freddie Dorris coooool, thanks.
awesome review, that's the light for me, ordering one asap. Thanks !
+YakAlien Nice, thanks.
Great vid & well presented mate. I need this light (as well as the other 47 lights i probably have about the house)
+video3ish Lights are addicting.
I like that light but not sure how I feel about not being able to change batteries, I have been carrying the thrunite archer 2c v2 and I really like that light, it's 40.00 and 850 lumens and 4 modes. Maybe I will take a chance sometimes change is good. Great review as always.

Very good compact flashlight. A good emergency at home or afield
With a good charger (m.usb)
PREPFORIT yep...glad most are micro usb.
LOL to the conclusion! Bad arse light all around! Nice review Sir!
Feral Woodcraft haha, yes.
Awesome review n flashlight. *Random question... What kind of tree is that that looked like a giant white Christmas tree?
probably a blue spruce.

My button doesn't blink is it because I have an older one or is it dead
VS Olight S2 baton. Which one better. Thanks
Nice review!
You got the battery status wrong, it doesn's show percent, but voltage. Fast blinks is volts, slow blinks is incriments, so in your case 4.0 volts.
Fredrik Simonsen It blinks 4 times when full then 3, then 2, then 1. That's all I know, LOL.
Critters n' Me Yeah I was wrong...some do the percentage, others the voltage. Great product for sure. Thanks for the comment.

Hi Ben. Thanks...sweet looking light. How is the tint? Cool? Neutral? I hope they offer a neutral white even if less lumens.
EarlyMist i believe it is cool white.
Great review!

you can buy a AA charger, i use the goalzero guide 10.
Awesome, is the Goal Zero compatible with the Anker panel? Is it just a matter of buying the right cable? Thanks again!
How long can you use this light before the battery is empty? Thanks. GRtz
wonder if rei sells it
that is one heck of a light!
+Sunny Wu agreed, thanks for watching.
Isnt this light required to turn it on when you charge it in order for the batteries to get a charge?
great light when it works i have 2 and both work sometimes even bought nitecore charger for batteries, still have problems with it. 100.00 a pop is to much for something that always has problems
That sucks.
just ordered mh20 an p12 "new"version I already have ec4 an tm36 kinda sceptical about mh20 cause it's small is it worth it took me 2 days to look at ur reviews lol great videos ...tm36 is a beast tho I call Batman from time to time...
+jorge martinez thanks for the comment great lights.
is there a lock out mode in this light ?
Water went in my mh20 now there is a white spot inside the glass can you help me dissasemble mh20 to clean glass from the inside? Thanks
Nice review! If it has a charging station, it will be perfect!
why u need a charging station? its chargeable directly to the light. i have the olight s1 baton with charging station and seriously, its not as convenient as direct charge using micro usb to the light
great job!
awesome light!
I like it...I have a Fenix UC30 which I like, but it would be nice if it had a better spot...it's a little too floody
Is the integrated charger a smart charger? can it be over charged? I want to hook it up to a solar panel and just leave it until i need it. I just want to be sure I wont damage it by leaving it plugged in for long periods of time.
+jerkyboy00 nitecore's have protection against that.
Great Video!! how effective do you think is the strobe compared to the MH12 or any other similar ones?
+Sam L.P all nitecore strobes are the best as they are 3 function. strobe. sos. beacon.
How This Flashlight stands up vs Manker U11 CREEXPL ?
+Michal Misio not sure, don't own a manker.
Very impressive light. (Stop embarrassing the dog!)...
MrBulletpoints haha, had to throw that in. thanks.
I really like this. But i hope they release a tail clicky version.

+Alvaro Garcia no
Is the strobe light 1000 lumens?
I really like your videos I'd like to buy this flashlight but I'd like to know how nightcore customer service is and if something went wrong with the flashlight how is it to send it to them to be fixed Thanks
+Mr9mm45acp not the best I have heard. I personally have never had a problem.
very nice bro!
Jarhead6 thanks man, enjoy your weekend.
Living Survival you too bro!
Hello ,i would like to know at what battery level it`s still safe to turn on turbo mode.
Less than 50% or 30%?
This flashlight has protection built in - turbo mode won't work when the voltage drops to about 3.6, if I remember correctly.
The dog taking shit was awesome !!)))))
+sergey Boglyukov glad you enjoyed
Is your MH20 the cool white LED or is it the neutral white LED?
+NuclearCowboy always cool white.
+Living Survival ate they the same cool white ones for sale in the link ?
NuclearCowboy not sure...the cool white will usually be a little but brighter than the neutral white.
Living Survival may I ask please are they two different torches with cool and neutral white? Do I have to ask when buying one of these torches?
Cool. Thank you
are most Nitecore beams adjustable?
They mostly come out at night; mostly.
Ordering one now. Love it. Cool sexy tech ;-)
Mine arrived a few days ago. Very happy with it. Love the compact size and the functionality they put into it. The coolest torch/flashlight i have ever purchased. Just attached it to the outside of my EDC pouch I have just setup. :-)

+bur bur both great lights.
Has anyone had any problems with the button
I have the streamlight polytac and it's okay
Very good review

Do you prefer the MH20 or the EC11?
Carter McLaughlin both great lights. depends on if you think you will use a usb rechargeable light (rechargeable with a solar panel for example) or if you prefer something that takes standard batteries.
Waterproof? Can zooming?
Ben, Great review on a Great Flashlight, However GearBest has lousy customer service, poor delivery if at all, placed two orders on may 30, 2015, only have received one, too much trouble dealing with a Chinese Company......
