Gracias
Insulation is called Armaflex. It comes in different shapes and thicknesses. originally a plumbing product i think. Diy people use it alot over here. seems to be a europe thing, haven't seen this in the us in any camper builds.
Ok, sure I know that stuff… great stuff for camping mat or to kneel on - most commonly used for commercial piping insulation in US. About R4.3 per inch, resists moisture/mold, and great sound deadening too.
hey thanks! it's around 500kg, this is with fridge, toilet, kitchen, bed, 350w solar and all the electrics. i was on the scale packed and loaded, 60l water, food, clothes ect 710kg.
Incredible work man! Working on a plan to build one myself... do you have any concerns not sandwiching the foam panels/framing with another piece of 5mm plywood? I like the look and it'd be lighter, but adding an 5mm plywood to the interior would help reinforce the shear strength of the framing. Also, how are you going to run electrical wiring to keep it hidden?
Thank you! I don't have any concerns about stability. The build stays much lighter like this. And the camper is wrapped in 2 layers of fiberglas all around, thats some extra strenght too. Most of the cables are hidden behind the seats, kitchen ect., but i still ned to get creative to hide them on the ceiling.
@@TruckHomeSwitzerland great to hear! I’ll probably remove most of the interior plywood from my plans then. When you going to post your next progress video?
think those lift jacks are in a stupid place hate to get clipped by one of those i'd atleast mount them closer in to the camper frame they stick out to far
I’ve only watched a couple of the build episodes and I was thinking “oh crap he didn’t plan for the wheel wells but now I see why. 😂
Well done brother!
Very nice project
Gratuliere, super gemacht, hab mir etwas sehr ähnliches gebaut 👍💪 viel Spaß damit

Nice job. Think of setting wheels on the levers for an easier coupling
thats an awesome job !!!
Intrigued as to how you're going to fix this down to the bed?
Thanks for the video, you have exactly what I want to build ,
