I got a Brondell from Lowe's. It's been good for a year now. I skipped the light and warmer because that requires an electrical outlet nearby, which adds big time to the cost and installation trouble. I'm completely happy with mine without the electrical part, and I installed it myself.
I’m thrilled for you to have a great sponsor! 🎉🎉🎉 I love love love my bidet, it absolutely makes a cleaning difference and keeps wiping to an absolute pat dry situation. Adjustable pressure is great too! I live in the desert 🌵 so cool water feels good on all areas. Slow close is always appreciated…….and I’m spoiled and never want to use any other bathroom 🤣😂🤣 than my own. My advice to anyone who is curious but hesitant…..start simple ….just do it! AND to anyone who has read my comment so far…….you can absolutely get a quality bidet for $100, so don’t be afraid of that you have to pay a lot. I started with a $10 squeeze peri bottle from Amazon. Ended up with a $100 Brondell from Costco. Shop around for sure!
@yourfriendlyproctologist - Not really. You might not like the feel of cold water on your bum and eventually want some sort of heating device. For me personally the cold water never bothered me, I find it refreshing in the morning. But, I dont live in the North where tap water is probably much colder. Just know this wont be your last bidet. You'll buy another every 2 or 3 years for various reasons. Once you use one you'll never want to be without it again.
I’ve been using a Toto handheld, battery-powered bidet for several years. It does a really good job flushing away poop, so all you need to do is blot dry with tp. It’s has saved my hemorrhoids from damage.
I have the Tushy spa bidet which isn’t electric because I wanted to start out small to see if actually liked using a bidet. I love it, it is amazing, can’t understand why more people don’t use bidets.
Bought a Kohler bidet toilet a couple years ago. It’s a total game changer. Nothing better than sitting on a warm seat and having warm water clean the bottom end.
I just use a handy dandy old water bottle to wash up, kind of akin to the "tabo" from the Philippines. I believe in India and a few other countries they use something similar. Super cheap, you can control the water temperature and the angle and most importably it's portable and it doesn't shock your (hopefully) butt (and not your ceiling) with a sharp cold stream of water :)
First time commenting, although have been following your channel for hemmes problems. In mid 50s now, my country doesn't have panicura available but still is comforting to know that regarding hemmes sufferers, I'm not alone. Had it after pregnancy, suction and bad tear delivery, been thru surgery still came back in my 40s. Doctors always said to avoid constipation, avoid diahorrea, avoid straining. But for people who are struggling with IBS, you'll experience either one at a time. I'll just try to make friends with it, apply some lubricants before every BM and wash after that. Still, you could have a good day today and another bad after next. Been to a specialist but concluded that surgery is not a recommended option. Hated the off and on bleedings since it's something I can't control (colonoscopy found nothing just internal between grade 2-3 hemmes). Mentally, I found comfort that even yourself a specialist in this field are also having the same problem and constantly dealing with it and making peace with them, plus the sharing from your viewers. Thanks.
Yes, being told to do something without good solutions or counseling always comes out frustrating. It’s easy on the doctor side to spit the textbook at you, but results are quite disappointing! I’m glad you are dealing the best you can and you are not alone!
@@imfractured I bought a hand held bidet from Temu that is attached to a water bottle to take on vacation. Obviously it’s not the same, but at least it’s better than just toilet paper.
@@lisab1026 it does get nasty. Get one that looks like a hose (so it doesn’t just hang inside the toilet bowl), it’s so much easier to control too so you don’t randomly just clean your ceiling instead of your bum. Or just use an old water bottle and do it like they do in the Philippines (look up “tabo”).
They are all a little different in that regard, but this one has a lot of self cleaning and self sterilizing features. It has a quick release to pull the seat off to wipe under it and the wand itself has UV light sterilization and washes itself before and after each use. It really is not much more to clean then a regular seat. But the benefits out weigh the extra cleaning work for me!
Great question! Not all bidets are the same, but this one in Dr Chung's video stores the wand behind a little door. It also has UV light sterilization and Silver Nano sterilization. When you use the bidet you will do your business and then select your wash, so the wand does not come out until you are done. It washes itself before and after each use as well. Hopefully that helps answer your question.
I've been to Europe a few times. The bidets gave me the creeps because they seem dirty to me. I'd rather wipe my butt w/tp, then use seventh generation baby wipes, then a paper towel. Baby wipes and paper towels go in the trash of course. Good luck and have fun with your new project! 🤣 It should be interesting!🤣

Thank you very much! It's very exciting to have a sponsor who is willing to participate in the community. I can't wait for my bidet journey to begin!
As a life long user from the other side of the world, I’m happy for you.
Thank you so much! I can't wait to see what you've been doing all your life!
You wont be sorry. You'll love it.
I hope I do...wonder if there is an adjustment period.

Wow! I'm looking for a poop blaster as well!

What do you think about sitz baths, a bowl that you can soak in ?
I’ve got a few videos on that very topic. Check them out!
Been using one for 2 years now I freak out d when I gotta go away from home and think about using tp again, feels so wrong
LOL!! Really?

Any gotcha's when sharing bidet with family members? Is this comparable to sharing a toothbrush?
Good question!
