Yimes II Production Progress

After the success of Yimes, we couldn't help ourselves but to embark on the production of Yimes II. This footage is cut from a live take with camera audio from a guitar duet by Kevin Ayers and Patrick Smith which will serve as the building block for a composition on the new album. The footage documents a three day weekend of production, starting at Andrew's home studio and moving to Brothers (Chinese) Recording in Oakland, CA. There we recorded piano, organ, rhodes, wurlitzer, violin, viola and guitars with Michael Kropf, Justine Preston, Patrick Smith and Kevin Ayers. Engineered by Beau Sorenson.
