A lot of people think that Mitsuo basically became his own Shadow by the end of things, but I view it differently. Mitsuo's Shadow is as honest about Mitsuo's hidden feelings as everyone else's is about themselves. Mitsuo, deep down, believes he really IS nothing - nothing special, nothing unique, no one of consequence. The idea bothers him so much, makes him so desperate, that even being a troubled teen killer is more appealing. He despises the idea of being nothing so much that, even when confronted with a literal manifestation of his inner feelings telling him TO HIS FACE what he's feeling, he still denies it hard enough to make his shadow just...give up. Mitsuo, after his boss fight, commits to the idea of being a murderer and going to jail over accepting his fear of being a nobody. That's why he's such an impactful character in the end, even if his contribution to the overall story of P4 is minimal. You can't save him, not even a little bit. Even after everything the Investigation Team does, Mitsuo gives up completely on facing his inner demons, and thus gives up on his humanity. He *was* a helpless, wailing baby hiding behind his delusions...now he's not even that.
It’s a lot more pessimistic when you think of it this way: Not even Narukami could save him. You can’t even try. He doesn’t even get a chance. Missed opportunity or nihilistic undertones? You be the judge.
All of the vital components of the song are still there, but the passion is gone. Mitsuo did not face himself. He left it to the investigation team to face his hollow corpse of a “self” and that self was defeated. But the alternative was him becoming just another victim of the shadows.
Ivoroon Θ Well the original boss theme (I'll Face Myself -battle-) was intended to evoke an intense, yet emotional feel to the shadow-self battles. I guess they were trying to recapture the same feel with this remix.
He was so deluded, his shadow was no longer his true self and was corrupted into non existance, and the only thing left was his view on human life: it was a game.
oh i dont give a shit. Mitsuo can fucking Go to hell, i dont care about him like i do Adachi and other characters who i actually have seen before. but i do feel kinda bad lol
On my playthrough, I didn’t have Black Frost, but I still won my fight against him. I had Yosuke, Teddie, and Yukiko with me in the fight to make healing precautions.
@@SpeedStar1642 the easiest for me was Shadow Naoto or Adachi. The hardest was Shadow Kanji, because I was underprepared and ran out of healing items. It took me over an hour and a half to finish it, and it was my first try
It's a Golden exclusive too, vanilla P4 still uses the original version of the theme. I wonder if it's something they decided to throw in after the fact, or an idea they already had in their mind but couldn't execute initially for one reason or another.
I know that there a lot of people that hate this character mainly because of his personality and that he could of been left out of the story entirely (the latter of which I can agree on), but in regards to his personality, I actually find him to be scarily relatable to myself because I was once like that (more specifically the isloation, loneliness, and drowning his sorrows in video games and internet thing) and I kinda still am in some aspects. I wouldn't go as far as to kill someone just to get attention because I do have others that do care about me and I am trying to make something with my life (I have a job and I plan to move out of my parents house to live with my elderly great aunt as they both suggested I should do). Like his shadow tells him, he is empty and has nothing. It's really sad when you think about it.
MrTherandomguy42 there are people who believe that mitsuo could´ve been left out ? he is one of the most important characters story wise since he is the anomaly in the mystery, the one mistake the killer made. But since the game wants the protagonists to be stupid and just adjust the facts to the theory(and not the other way round) they dont pick up on that till very late.
MrTherandomguy42 no, most people hate him because, to put it bluntly, Atlus took off their kiddie gloves with this fight and put their hand In the main series gauntlet
Mitsuo is in every sense a baby hiding behind a shell of fiction. This goes in hand with how he is the only person in the game to refuse to accept himself.
@@spencerbowden2979 Everyone rejected him so yeah it's not surprising. He tried to be a part of the group at the beginning and the main characters just dunked on him.
The name of this song is such a good homage to the parent series and a wordplay with mitsuo, but I think “I’ll hate myself” would also be fitting cause instead of facing your fears/shortcomings, you hate yourself so much you deny your shadow and you become how mitsuo ended up.
Mitsuo was a pretty dark character in this game. It felt more uncomfortable knowing his character than even exposing Adachi, since there are a lot of people who can relate to Mitsuo. Mitsuo has zero security or self-identity. He's literally a baby on the inside, and babies are constantly in need of attention for others. Later on in life, his development continues to stagnate and his self of self is hollow, which is why it's represented by an 8-bit character. Since he's only an infant, he never developed theory of mind. He's alone in the world and sees himself as the only real person, which is why he's the "Hero" and why he feels no remorse for murdering other people since he literally can't comprehend the value of people other than himself. He's a prime example of someone who has narcissistic personality disorder. In the end, his egotistical nature was so deep that he couldn't awaken his Persona because he's fundamentally incapable of self-awareness, because to be truly self-aware requires you to be able to see yourself through other people.
if you pay attention to his shadow's dialogue, it doesn't say "I am a Shadow, the True Self!" like the others. Instead, it says "I am a Shadow, I'll end your existence!" It shows that the Shadow is no longer his "true self" anymore and Mitsuo is acting more like a shadow self than his actual shadow.
I think another factor that makes Mitsuo's story scarier is that he doesn't get a happy ending by any means. As we see in the true ending of P4 and then Ultimax, Adachi does make small steps towards bettering himself, but Mitsuo doesn't even have that, rejecting his shadow until it just gives up and presumably spending the rest of his life in prison, in complete denial over what happened. He never accepted his true self, the polar opposite of Adachi, who accepted himself right off the bat, and the latter can at least be considered a somewhat admirable quality.
Adachi is the same, because he was alone he became sick of life and became a killer like Mitsuo and its not because your in a state of depression that you will become a killer its stupid. This guy was crazy since the beginning
Like @vinegar4556 said, Mitsuo is arguably a worse person than Adachi. In P4Au, it shows that Adachi does genuinely regret the murders he committed, and is a model prisoner. He's even still on mostly good terms with Dojima, who comes to visit him, and while he's still an asshole, he values his own defeat and the lessons he learned more than he would like to admit. After Mitsuo's loss, he maniacally reiterates his own delusions, to the point where his Shadow vanishes, because the negative aspects of his Shadow are less Shadow-like than the real Mitsuo. Mitsuo is so far gone that he possibly has genuinely convinced himself that he murdered the victims that Adachi did, and is almost excited to be carted off to prison because he finally found some attention in his miserable life. TL;DR Mitsuo is possibly more of a terrible person than Adachi because Mitsuo is utterly incapable of not only changing, but just seeing reality for what it is in the first place. He can't begin to change because he can't even begin to comprehend reality in order to change in the first place.
SO in Ultimax it seems they renamed this song "Revelations: Mitsuo" .....Really Atlus? I'm happy for the Persona 1 reference but Shin MItsuo Tensei just worked better.
It's also listed as "Revelations: Mitsuo" in P4G's music collection. I think they felt the Persona reference was more fitting for a persona game than SMT
That moment when you wonder how your own shadow would like and you see the deep voiced baby putting up an armor of video games and you are like: "welp..."
+Terminal Creature I'm hardly ever underleveled for bosses, so this guy wasn't really hard. And in P4G, it doesn't take that much grinding to get a "maxed" Persona. The cards legit make any persona OP if you aim for them. By that time, my Izanagi had, like God's Hand with 99 Str. Or, maybe in the 70-80 range.
I've even heard someone mention that they destroyed the 8-Bit Hero shell, Only for thid boss to use up all 3 turns he gets afterwards using Whisper, Chant and Prayer all in that order and immediately reconstruct said shell. There's spiteful RNG, and then there's SPITEFUL RNG!
you know, playing P4G in my early 30s and faced Mitsuo the first time makes me appreciative of who am I now because at one point in my late teens until mid 20s I was similar like Mitsuo. In some way, I saw my past self in Mitsuo and I'm glad I didn't fell into what Mitsuo did.
Nah. They keep milking the worst, most pandery game in their lineup. Honestly, this dungeon and Yosuke are the only things I like about P4G (fuck you, Marie!), and I only really like the dungeon because of the SMT1 callback.
Persona 4 for the PS2: 0.82 million in sales globally. Persona 3 for the PS2: 0.45 million in sales globally. Hmmm... I wonder why ATLUS is putting more P4 out... It is because it sells more games. That's better for the company.
PlasmaTempest39 Because they don't care about the quality of the storyline and content in Persona anymore. If Persona 5 has more social shit than dungeon crawling, I'm done with the subseries.
Kenpokid4 The persona series is most likely always going to be focused around "The social shit" because that's what made Persona both popular and gave it a different identity to the rest of the SMT series, and it was most likely added due to the fact that visual novels in Japan are immensely popular. And in terms of milking Persona 3 has had just as much in Japan as Persona 4 has in the west. The main reason that the spin offs are actually coming out in the west is because for the most part Persona 4 was originally better received and sold better.
I love how it shows “WARNING” to make it more tense, and as it plays the song, it just shows a picture of Shadow Mitsuo with a white picture in the background as if he got it from google 💀
Istg in his cutscenes even though he’s a murderer I just feel the need to like give this kid a hug or something. Like his life is miserable so much he’d kill for people to notice him. Just the thought of it makes me teary eyed
So much infighting between MegaTen fans. Can't we all get along? I like the mainline SMT games (especially 3 and 4, which may be my favorite games of all time). They provide a dark, foreboding atmosphere, and convey the feeling of loneliness directly to the player, with great impact. The feelings the main games inspire in me have even altered the way I think about life. Even 1, the weakest of the main games, while not being as developed story-wise, is pretty fun. The Persona series is also a good series. The games tend focus more on character development rather than world building or plot, which is obviously far different from the main-line games. Yes, the Persona games can be considered "more generic," but this isn't inherently a bad thing, so long as they make it engaging and not completely derivative (which Atlus does). Both series have their strengths and weaknesses. I haven't played most of the spinoffs, but they are usually good games, and their narrative tends to fall into "mainline like," "persona like," or somewhere in between. Again, none of these categories should be the target of contempt. They both have artistic merit. Of course, they might not appeal to you individually, but that is irrelevant. I don't really care for The Legend of Zelda personally, but I recognize that it is a great series. So yeah, can everyone just take a deep breath and appreciate each other's tastes?
I wss introduced to SMT through P4G and P3P, and when I went to SMT forums for help (coz I wanted MOORE but didn't know where to start)... I was greeted with SMT elitists who bashed me for playing Persona 3 n 4. Like what the fuck, aren't you the same fandom? Kinda reminds me of Sonic fandom which is divided into 4 categories: classic fans, adventure era fans, modern fans and those who just don't give a crap and play games.
Greetings, This is late, but I just beat him in my first run on my first try; it was pretty easy, and black frost is not on my team yet. Then again, I power charged him to death and was level fifty-three, haha. Cheers, co is
In persona 5, the palaces are owned by your enemies, with 1 exception: Futaba. In persona 4, the dungeons are owned by your (Soon to be) friends, with 1 exception: Mitsuo
If we count Heaven as Nanako's dungeon and not Namatame's, then 2 of the final 3 dungeons in the game (and the 2 mandatory ones, Marie's is optional/not even in the game in vanilla Persona4) are against enemies; Adachi and Izanami. But yes, a vast majority of them are owned by your friends/party members.
For anyone having trouble with this fight, get Black Frost. He’s a pentagon fusion for a Margaret request (him + auto suku) and he is built as soon as you get him. You’ll have to level him up one level though in order to get Agidyne. He will get mind charge from SL boosts. With this combo you’ll deal a ton of damage to Mitsuo. Just keep Yu protected and buff him
I feel bad Mitsuo. He's made fun of for his appearance. He isn't a good student or athlete, so he doesnt stand out. To top it off he has no friends. I know he killed King Moron. But I couldn't help but feel bad for him because In a way, I could relate to him a little.
Mitsuo has a very strange connection to the player. His personality and actions make you feel sorrowful but at the same time hatred because of how he murder King Moron. You want to hate him but just can't because yoy begin to ask, "Would I or anyone do this too?"
It's easy to call people names when they do such things. It's harder to accept that maybe human morality isn't black-and-white and that people can be driven to do many kinds of questionable things, depending on their lives and choices they've made before.
Genuinely, Shadow Mitsuo was the first "pain in my ass" boss since Shadow Yukiko. It's a trend for me in Persona games to struggle a LOT on the first dungeon and then somehow blaze through the rest, killing the boss after anywhere from 1-4 tries, but I always stumble over one before picking up again. In Royal, the snag was Okumura's Palace, and in Golden, it was Void Quest.
I fought Mitsuo at Level 41 I think? Is that overleveled? I didnt really have trouble with him only thing that annoys me is his evil smile and Ghastling whail
@@NocturnalDecay Yeah Okumura is brutal cause he can keep looping the phases. You're more likely to time out than to die. Ironically, Merciless mode makes the fight easier due to increased damage output. For me in Persona 3 it was the Dancing Lovers who hit you with Garudyne and Magarudyne when you're still in the mid 20's with iffy access to the mid-tier spells. Also if you bring Yukari they have Marin Karin and she heals them back to full. I basically just SP stall them. I do know of other people who had issues with the Jotun of power in the last area

+Rylan Yeckley Oh come on, he had his problems. Also, he's a gamer. You'd have to be a gamer to be on this video. Why are you here if you're not a gamer? And how did you even get here? ._.
+Christian Lowe It's not because he's a gamer, it's because he was too weak to face himself (no pun intended) ,committed murder just because he thought it was the only way he would be noticed, and blamed other people for his problems. It doesn't help that his boss fight was annoying as hell.
Rylan Yeckley He's mentally damaged. What did you expect? Naoto says later that people can't live alone. And the fact that you say "just because" proves you don't understand Mitsuo's backstory. Read every piece of dialogue involving him carefully if you wanna know him. It's not hard to put many of the dots together. And what if you were in his situation? I'm beginning to think that Mitsuo is supposed to be a Japanese DSP.
+The Nobody14200 That would be the intent, yes. He's probably the most actually contemptible character in the entire game. The killer is scarier, but the emotion he evokes is closer to that of actual fear or wariness because even though he's hateful, he's not pathetic. Moroka that dick of a teacher is well, a dick, but at least he's trying. Kind of. He has a degree and he's trying in his way to improve the next generation. He's terrible at it, but he tries. Mitsuo is a worm.
Shadow Mitsuo was a bitch on Very Hard. But, not as bad as Shadow Teddie, I'll agree, but only because RNGesus chooses who he shall condemn very, very unkindly when it comes to the Shadow Teddie fight.
Yo, fuck Shadow Teddie. This was the first Turn Based Combat game that I really played to an extent, and it took me 8 fucking tries to beat that piece of shit, half the time, he was like a sliver to death. Same thing almost happened against Namatame, my whole party was dead and one hit would kill me, luckily he finally used a fire attack which I was ready for and reflected and defeated him with a normal attack.
What are you talking about? Shadow Teddie had like 5 attacks and he repeated the same pattern over and over again: Whisper, Mind Charge, Mabufula. Yeah, sometimes he could use Marakunda and Heat Wave, but... Once you've learned the pattern, that boss is a piece of cake. On the other hand, this pixelated piece of crap can 1shot your party members. And that's randomized! Like "Ehi, are you sick of this SO DAMN LONG battle? It would be a shame if someone 1-hit KO'd you". BANG Game Over. Both the battles, though, were quite bad. The only problem in beating P4's bosses is the CRAZY damage output. But, actually, you can just grind your way through the whole game.
when I played Golden on the Vita, I was underleveled so this boss was a real slog to get through. After a lot of time and a little grinding I finally beat him, only for the game to crash right after he died. Two times in a row. This boss is tainted in my mind and no matter how easily he goes down I still can't help but worry that I might have to do it all over again
I wish that when Yu dies, the party members fight on their own. However, the characters might mess up occasionly, (eg. giving a Revival Bead to Teddie as opposed to Yu, hitting the wrong Shadow, using the wrong move.) After 3 turns they lose their sanity, and pass out on the battlefield. Game Over. However! If you manage to revive the MC (Yu) the PMs return to normal. Better then losing when Yu dies.
+ImpTom95 It at least would make things make a little more sense. Tell me why you would insta-lose if you die - but if anyone else dies you can use a revival bead. Couldn't a team-mate revive you with a bead just like you can revive anyone else with one? Couldn't they keep fighting just like you can keep fighting if anyone else dies?
+Tsukistar1 The real reason you get a Game Over is revealed at the very end of the game. SPOILER Yu represents a side of humanity in Izanami's game, when he is defeated he is removed from the game. Presumably you friends do toss a revival bead to help you back up, but by then the damage is already done and you are now in an unwinnable situation. Besides, SMT games all have the WE CANNOT GO ON WITHOUT YOU. It finally took until SMTIV for that not to apply.
I just fought this boss last night, it was both very funny but still sad at the same time. The fact that “I’ll face myself” is 8-bit for this fight and that all of the 8-bit hero’s attacks function just like old RPG commands was very entertaining…. And then you break down the shell and find the shadow, just an attention seeking baby, heck, the real person acts more like a shadow than his actual shadow, the “shadow” doesn’t even say “I am a shadow, I am the true self!”
Me coming to listen to my favorite boss theme to the point of where I am, and finding in-fighting in the comments instead of people talking about how this was a really good and fun dungeon with a boss that was just hard enough to make it rewarding yet not controller throwingly difficult: :0
This boss is VERY easy (Even in Very Hard mode) if you keep Izanagi, use Skill Cards to make him OP, and picking stat upgrades in Shuffle Time while you have him equipped. Izanagi can become such an OP beast that even this boss is simple. Thank me later.
@@darndavid75692 months late but black frost is the only persona you need for narukami before it starts building it’s she’ll make sure you have a mind charge ready and try hitting it with physical skills until it starts building. When it starts unleash your mind charged magic attack with black frost to deal substantial damage and have your team deal more on top of it if your team can all at least deal medium magic damage you should be able to destroy the shell. Yukiko has the ability to remove fear from the whole party I completely forgot to utilize that during the fight but still managed if anyone is inflicted with fear get rid of it asap you need everyone fighting to stop the shell from coming back. Teddie is also helpful in this fight he has a skill that ups everyone’s attack damage which can make it easier to destroy the shell.
I just fought this boss for the first time today. The only thing that made him even remotely dangerous was the fear he inflicted preventing you from dpsing him enough from getting his shell back up. Bringing having yukiko and a persona on narukami that nulls fear and can null fear will make this fight a breeze cause no matter what happens someone can get rid of it and your party can keep up the damage.
These Persona games reflect human emotion and negativity really well to a T...
I’m sorry but I’m not gonna read all this right now, I will read the rest later

I do not understand how they can just make the song convey the feeling of being dead inside. Atlus' music team is legendary
All of the vital components of the song are still there, but the passion is gone. Mitsuo did not face himself. He left it to the investigation team to face his hollow corpse of a “self” and that self was defeated.
But the alternative was him becoming just another victim of the shadows.
@@mr.personalspace7831 It's a literal shell of the original song, which fits perfectly with Mitsuo's shadow.
Even though its just the normal battle theme in 8-bit, doesn't it sound kinda...sad?
Ivoroon Θ Well the original boss theme (I'll Face Myself -battle-) was intended to evoke an intense, yet emotional feel to the shadow-self battles. I guess they were trying to recapture the same feel with this remix.
He was so deluded, his shadow was no longer his true self and was corrupted into non existance, and the only thing left was his view on human life: it was a game.
Ivoroon Θ because he himself was a sad individual if you think about it

I fused black frost right after his bossfight. I feel stupid :P

@@SpeedStar1642 the easiest for me was Shadow Naoto or Adachi. The hardest was Shadow Kanji, because I was underprepared and ran out of healing items. It took me over an hour and a half to finish it, and it was my first try
This song fits this boss way more than the standard boss theme. It's 8-bit instruments kinda help to give it a more creepy and unsettling feel
I played the original version of Persona 4 after I had played Golden.... So glad I played Golden first; the 8-bit version ROCKS.
I like the name void quest because in programming a void function is one that returns nothing, which essentially describes the entire void quest saga
Using an 8-bit I'll Face Myself just for this boss is a pretty nice touch. My favorite version of the song.
It's a Golden exclusive too, vanilla P4 still uses the original version of the theme. I wonder if it's something they decided to throw in after the fact, or an idea they already had in their mind but couldn't execute initially for one reason or another.
@@JennyTheNerdBat no, I'm playing the original and it's this song that plays
They don’t have this in the in game music player why?!?!!
@daniellins4114 you are definitely playing golden, or a modded rom, this song is not in the original games sound track.
Good luck, man! So how are you doing now?
I'm the same but no job and no friend ever 🥲 Games are the only thing that feels important
I hate him but at the same time relate. Because I was like him too. everyone was a Mitsuo in one point in their life.
I enjoy this version being Mitsuo's theme purely because of how empty and hollow it is, which really amplifies how nothing of a person he truly is.
oh shit, that's why this track has absolutely zero substance, that actually makes sense
He boenslty just needed help, but he of course wasn't taking any.
The name of this song is such a good homage to the parent series and a wordplay with mitsuo, but I think “I’ll hate myself” would also be fitting cause instead of facing your fears/shortcomings, you hate yourself so much you deny your shadow and you become how mitsuo ended up.
mitsuo the type of mf to tell you to play a real smt game
Mitsuo is a manifestation of the "play real smt 🥺" mfs
Instead, it says "I am a Shadow, I'll end your existence!"
It shows that the Shadow is no longer his "true self" anymore and Mitsuo is acting more like a shadow self than his actual shadow.
I wonder how OP his Persona would be
Like @vinegar4556 said, Mitsuo is arguably a worse person than Adachi.
SO in Ultimax it seems they renamed this song
"Revelations: Mitsuo" .....Really Atlus? I'm happy for the Persona 1 reference but Shin MItsuo Tensei just worked better.
It's also listed as "Revelations: Mitsuo" in P4G's music collection. I think they felt the Persona reference was more fitting for a persona game than SMT
I believe its cause P4 Golden onwards they dropped the SMT Monacre. Thus they changed a reference to show pride for persona.
that's still not right, SMT is the one with 8-bit music, isn't it?

Because they don't care about the quality of the storyline and content in Persona anymore.

Wow, I think you've summed up every person on the internet with that sentence alone.

+MegaZeroX7 But if I can't be an elitist in my favorite video game franchises, what else can I do with my life?

Genuinely, Shadow Mitsuo was the first "pain in my ass" boss since Shadow Yukiko. It's a trend for me in Persona games to struggle a LOT on the first dungeon and then somehow blaze through the rest, killing the boss after anywhere from 1-4 tries, but I always stumble over one before picking up again.
Same thing almost happened against Namatame, my whole party was dead and one hit would kill me, luckily he finally used a fire attack which I was ready for and reflected and defeated him with a normal attack.
Shadow Teddie was easy but your sure to loose to him atleast once and then you have to redo the rise fight.
+Joe Mumford interesting idea you mean all the party members pass out 3 turns after yu dies?
+Mulyadi Budiman we know that but you cant give commands since the person giving the commands are mc
+Tsukistar1
The real reason you get a Game Over is revealed at the very end of the game.
SPOILER
Yu represents a side of humanity in Izanami's game, when he is defeated he is removed from the game. Presumably you friends do toss a revival bead to help you back up, but by then the damage is already done and you are now in an unwinnable situation.
Besides, SMT games all have the WE CANNOT GO ON WITHOUT YOU. It finally took until SMTIV for that not to apply.
IvanMaster7 But how is he removed? How does it make it any different from before?
*Burroughs:*
I'm detecting a strong demon nearby, do you wanna go on?
*Yes*
*No*
Just a second, I gotta ask my other self if he can come along with me for this
I just fought this boss last night, it was both very funny but still sad at the same time.
Since it's 8-bit and stuff and a favorite game series of mine is mostly 8-bit...
I can't help but make this comment:
Shin *Megaman* Tensei
Heh heh
I'd play it
This sounds like it has been ripped straight out of a Master System and I love it so much!
Best character in the game on god. Yukiko musta been out her mind to shoot down a top shelf snacc like Rizzsuo 🥵🥵🥵
Idk about him being the best character tbh. He was a creep.
Literally me
This boss is VERY easy (Even in Very Hard mode) if you keep Izanagi, use Skill Cards to make him OP, and picking stat upgrades in Shuffle Time while you have him equipped. Izanagi can become such an OP beast that even this boss is simple. Thank me later.
Or even Simpler...
... Just get Black Frost as early as possible...
Somebody wants to get killed by Shadow Yukiko, apparently.
That was the only boss I actually had trouble on, so I guess you are right. Lol
How. Do I get. Black Frost?
I think you need the following Persona's (This is off of memory)
Jack Frost
Pyro Jack
King Frost
Pixie
Ghoul
Mitsuo’s life is like a video game
Trying hard to beat the stage
Using this strategy I was able to beat him with him only getting his shell back once.
the i'll face myself 8 bit version sounds so good but it also made me empty inside for some reason i think this is my favourite boss in persona 4 golden
It's a single chiptune instrument with a very low base. I'll Face Myself sounds like a whole band coming together to overcome each other's weaknesses, while this theme is just a lonely melody crawling on.
Gamer: No, you’re not me!
Shadow Gamer:I see... looks like I’ll have to level up to make you realize I’m you.

Teddie, we’ve seen a disco ninja frog, a banana head dominatrix, a phoenix in a cage, a really gay guy, a stripper with a satellite head and a void monster that looks like you. Is this what surprises you?
Yosuke:Is that thing supposed to be game character? How insulting can you get?
I see more people complaining about SMT Elitists in the comment section then actually SMT Elitists.
Are we sure they exist?
I'm not sure they do.
It must be a hoax.
Don't worry, they exist.
Oh they do, trust me on that. They've mostly died out and the even more insufferable persona elitists have taken their place
well not so much SMT elitists, but P1 and 2 elitists.
They just got covered by the complaints, like dumping a pile of leaves on a pile of pulled weeds.
First time playing P4 since it came to PC, this is so far one of my favorite OST piece even though the boss battle itself was really annoying lol
people need to stop arguing over the boss difficulty and appreciate that they changed the music for his fight in Golden. I've never played Golden, so I was really surprised to hear this. It's so clever.
Mind charge
Agadyne
Done :D
By far the best theme song in the game !
When you had no trouble with this fight and you played through the whole game only using Izanagi.
How the fuck did you manage, he's only got like...5 moves!
They probably used skill cards
Zeta Kidd I’m gonna have to call you out, after shadow teddy Izunagi is just unable to put out enough damage, where yes you can rely on those around you for the game dungeon. Shadow naoto, namatme, and adachi(because I myself never played golden so I don’t know.) it’s fucking impossible to say it bluntly.
thats epicb
@@cryingangel1247 teach him any physical skill.
Then go through tlany dungeon and fight shadows until you get skill level up cards
I fought mitsuo with a cu chulain with power charge and God's hand and was dealing a 1000 damage per hit
let me just say this it's implied in the animation the izanagi cut shadow mitsou in half because of the cut away before he struck, And that's in your mind forever
Pfft, check out this scrub. I bet he didn't even have a Persona with Megidolaon by the Shadow Yosuke boss fight.

Jokes on you guys, I bet the game with vanilla Izanagi. No skill cards. Literally the standard, shitty build I clapped Adachi (in the murder sense) and Chie (in the ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) sense) with.

I feel like they wasted Mituso's character. I feel like because of Mituso's appearance people made fun of him and that's why he takes video games so seriously. I feel like he should've gotten the hermit social link instead of the fox.

Imagine what his S-Link would be like and how he’d be as a better, stronger person.
He killed a man.
Like... on his own... without TV powers.
Eat it, Adachi.
Shadows killed all of your victims, not you.
He creeped me out way more than Adachi for killing someone without supernatural forces
If anyone's curious, I did an only Izanagi run. I managed to beat Mitsuo in my second try mainly because with Izanagi, the only Zio I had was Maziodyne and that used alot of sp. I had Kanji, Yosuke, and Yukiko on the team. I didn't really know who to have on the team so I just chose the people I felt like having in the group
If youre already using Izanagi, and Izanagi only, then why run Kanji too? Isnt he a touch redundant
@@Nazuiko You are correct sir.
I wasn't a very smart player back then.

I love the analogy of how Mitsuo is represented as a crying baby who hides in another reality and it is precisely in video games.
