Popper’s voice is rock, country and soul all crammed into one kickass voice.
He is fucking amazing. Saw Devo live at Mackey Auditorium in around Jr high. Blew the roof off..still have the stun.
Less than year from Bob's death and they were sounding great. This was the beginning of a new Blues Traveler. that bourght us 3 AMAZING new records: Bridge, Truth Be Told and Bastardos! (they have more, but those first 3 with the new lineup are amazing). Great show!
Anyone who gives a thumbs down was clearly NOT at this show ...probably not even born yet! I was there and BT rocked the Fox!

So cool to find this🤟 I was searching for BT show I saw the night before on July 4 at Red Rocks but to no avail🙁 But this show is so badass playing different songs than night before. Still I say if you’ve never witnessed Blues Traveler live in the summertime at Red Rocks then you’re missing out on an annual magical musical experience for a lifetime. It’s as if that marvelous mountainous venue & this band were meant to be forever. It only makes perfect sense & sounds heavenly everytime. Try it sometime folks. It’s life changing🤪👅🤟❤️
Saw John join the Allman brothers for a song at Redrocks a few days before this. Was freaking epic.

Thank you for posting this! This was my favorite show of BTW that I've ever seen. The emotional context of seen them in such a small venue at that time right after popper surgery and Bobby dying was unbelievable! I will never forget this show it is my favorite out of 114. I appreciate this so much.

I suddenly found myself searching TH-cam for the Blues Traveler show I was at July 4th 2000 at Red Rocks just out of a sudden feel good memory. Expecting to find nothing, I’m treated to a full pro filmed show from the very next night at the Fox. Atmosphere not as grand, but goddamn do they sound great & probably even better than the previous night on the Rocks🤟👅 True Legends. One of only a handful of rock bands that can never be covered with any semblance of likeness, sound, skill or passion. (The Doors, Primus, Tool, Morphine, King Crimson to name a few). Try it....I dare you!!🥸

Stewart Ross it’s a good song, but nowhere near their best. It was their answer to the record companies demand for a radio single. Their heart wasn’t in that track, and every fan knows it lol
