Purchased the same green Soldat model chrono from Jesse about over a year ago. These are exceptional timepieces. The quality of the stainless steel case design & finishing, Seiko NE88 movement and hand made strap are amazing. Incredible value especially with the special promo discount. BTW nice GS Chrono Chris!
Nice looking watch. I like all 3 colors they have. The red dial is really cool but it needs a black leather racing strap with red stitching. For the price of 1 Seiko with the same movement, you can buy all 3 color options if this watch.
This looks like an outstanding watch with great features. I've owned a couple watches with the NE88 and can't say anything bad about it other than the thickness. But I don't think this watch is too thick. 14.3mm seems more than reasonable. Most high quality chronographs come in at 13-14mm in thickness so not a deal breaker at all. Good review. This chronograph is now going near the top of my chrono list. Great Value!
Thank you I have not looked the way of chronos for a long time but I really like this piece in the blue dial your review was fair told me what I wanted to know thank you for being so on point stay well!
Considering the same basic movement from Seiko in a Seiko Chronograph usually costs closer to around $3k.. it's a great deal for a watch with that movement.
I have a smaller wrist but with that lug to lug, even with my small wrist I can wear this even with a 42mm case. Only downside is a wish the lume was more adequate.
Nice , seems well thought out & put together + a nice shade of green , like it & price is reasonable but its a chunky fella , suits your size wrist though .
I wish there more nice quartz chronographs. Not a fan of the added price and thickness of automatic chronos. Not to mention they are not delicate and cost more to repair. That said I love all 3 of these versions and for such a reasonable price it is tempting.

The Red Comet version - Wowee Wow Wow!

The name “Soldat” will always be associated with Ridge Racer to me!
Love the green just would have switched yellow to orange to be more in my color preference.

Nice looking in green cool!
Nice watch for the money! Is there any AR coating applied. Seems to have a fair amount of reflections.
Chris - in terms of overall build quality, the Knot ATC-40 you just reviewed or the Soldat?

this is a safe buy
This is a beautiful chronograph. But the fact they didn't polish the curved edge really bothers me. Makes for a pretty dull finish.
Good looking. But the name Soldat (meaning "soldier" in German) is kind of a mismatch since it's no field watch. Cheers
i had the same thought. nice watch but name did not fit
Soldat = soldier
soldat: a 'sheeple' design > a date, closed case back ;(
Am i part of your audience even though I'm supposed to be unsubscribed & not looking at watches
Hey why is that??
