LIRR: First day of the Summer Season on the Montauk Branch at Bay Shore

The Friday before Memorial Day weekend is always the first day of the Montauk Branch summer season which goes until Labor Day weekend. Various trains during this time only run during this season such as the Cannonball express, and a lot more. The summer season only happens on Friday’s until September 1 this year
