- Muharrem is not used to being able to communicate with everyone around him because he's hearing-impaired, and not everyone around him knows sign language. One morning he woke up and that had all changed. The moment was put together as part of an ad for Samsung Turkey. Many people who interacted with him, some of which Muharrem did not seem to know, had secretly taken sign language lessons to pull off the surprise.
Samsung Turkey posted it on TH-cam calling it "The Most Emotional Surprise of the Year." Samsung pulls our heart-strings with this emotional ad and makes us think of being more socially conscious of people who are hearing-impaired. They have creatively tapped into a part of humanity that is so highly ignored by the general public, so for that, I give them 5 stars.
This makes me tear up every time I watch it
Hearing impaired myself and autistic, sign language is the most beautiful language and that needs to be a federally learned language. The world over should know this language.

It's finally an ad that makes sense. Actual sense. And it helps the story along. And the payoff at the end is that they did all this to give deaf people a voice.
That was heart-warming. The kid was just so innocent, that's the part that got me the most.

One day? No, these people will retain this and be able to communicate with this young man and those alike for the rest of their lives. It may have been one day of filming his reactions, but that’s a lifetime of new friendships to be made.
Being pregnant and watching this is not a good combo. Can not stop crying. There is good in this world. We need to keep reminding each other of it through our actions. 🙏🏻🥰
