I saw this comment and was like "oh we'll see about that"....sure enough. Agree. I watch a lot of them. This one is the most "real" and very well edited.
Hi bro hope you are well and having a great weekend so far. Found you earlier and thought wow awesome travel videos, just have to connect and see more of your journeys. These are so well shot and edited, fab music also. Really pleased we found you, thanks so much for sharing your experiences with us really appreciate it keep up the good work bro, stay safe and take care my friend catch up soon 👍❤️🙏
Wonderful Experience, which I saw through your camera! Extremely encouraging to just pack 'n; leave for such an adventure ! It would be great if you can share your itinerary and some more details about some key prior bookings you did for this trip. Thanks in advance. Cheerio.
Thanks, I appreciate it! My cousin Greg honestly did most of the planning and I tagged along but we knew exactly what countries we were going to prior to the trip and used hostel world to book our hostels in advance! My next back packing trip I will probably plan as I go since I now know how easy it is to travel around Europe.
I'm going backpacking in Europe this spring and I've watched a lot of Europe backpacking videos here on youtube. Yours is one of my favourite videos so far! Love the editing. I really love the music too :) I couldn't find the first two songs on spotify I'm so sad!
hi Paul, ive seen your travel blogs in Europe and im so inspired to do backpacking together with my friend. Im planning to get in to these places for 2 days each in Paris, Italy(Venice), Switzerland(interlaken), Austria(Vienna), Prague and Budapest total of 12 days. If you could recommend me what package do i need to get for EUroRail or interrail for 12 days and hostels to recommend to these places that you've been. Thank You so much and hoping to get a reply from you soon.
Hey Benjie, that sounds like you have an amazing trip ahead of you. I didn't get a Eurorail pass or interrail pass, I just bought my trains tickets individually. After reading many mixed reviews I was happy I bought my tickets separately and traveling from country to country went very smoothly. I recommend booking hostels through hostel world and book based on the best reviews. My cousin goes over a lot of great trips in his video too which I linked below. Let me know if you have any questions and I hope you have a great trip! Safe travels. th-cam.com/video/7o95-x9-9bg/w-d-xo.html
wow Paul. Thanks for noticing my comment. Your giving me an inspiration to do travelling. My pleasure. So, am I going to buy the train tickets on the day itself?....i mean in the terminal prior boarding? Ive checked some apps like eurotrain and its kinda expensive like getting a 1 month europass... but our trip is only 12 days. Thanks in advance.
Nice video! I watch this over and over again. I'm planning to go to Budapest as well. Can you give me some tips where should I go in Budapest, especially at night? Thank you
Thank you so much! biggest tip I can give you for Budapest is to stay at carpe noctem vitae hostel. They plan the activities for every single night leaving you stress free and they have the best things planned. You're going to love it.
Loved this video! I’m trying to plan a backpacking trip for next April! I saw that there were bunk beds on the train y’all took??? Is that normal? Do all night trains have bunks?
Thank you! and no not all trains have bunks but some trains are advertised as sleeper trains and they're like 10 hours long through the night that you can take
Yo man, great video, I have a few questions for you. Me and my two friends just booked a 3 week trip to Europe. We land in Italy and leave out of Germany, I’m just wondering if you can give me a few tips. Thank you 🤟🏽
Thanks man! Biggest recommendation is make the most of everyday. Make a plan/list of what you want to do in each location the night before and then wake up early in start crossing everything off so you don't waste anytime. Download naps for offline use on google maps when in wifi so you will always know where to go and stay in hostels. They're cheap and you meet so many amazing people from around the world. Safe travels and enjoy yourself!
I can't remember the total but when comparing the two it was cheaper to take trains from country to country and then we flew from Berlin to Paris for $50 because we booked those tickets months in advance and then we flew home to D.C. I also recommend taking the trains because it is so much easier than going through security at every airport.
If you're planning ahead and are on a time constraint I would recommend Plane. Budget airlines are cheap and flights are short. Rail in Europe can be very expensive. For example, Munich to Pairs will be around $50 and its a 1 1/2hr flight. By train, it will cost you $150 and it's a 6-hour ride.
great video paul, I am going on a 3 week euro trip this fall too , can you tell me your itinerary after you guys landed in paris would help me tonne cheers!
Thank you! we booked our hostels in advance using hostel world and bought train tickets in advance to each city that we wanted to go to. Everything we did is captured in the video, hope this helped!
Ur VD as bump but i suggest to u once time u visit to Pakistan there as beautiful mountain osean and adventure places and people are here very humble and kind if u make plans in future tour in pakistan i will join u and guide u ?
Great vid! Btw just asking, was your itinerary pre-planned, or did you plan your route on-the-go? And is taking the train across countries affordable?? I'll be heading to Europe for exchange in the autumn and looking to travel during the semester so looking out for budget tips :)
