Thank you for the video 📹 very good. I've been sitting on a speed carb. Basically, put it aside because everyone trashes it..... I might have to give it a go now. Thanks again.

Have you tried to cut the whole transfer wall out of 49mm iron cylinder yet

No I haven’t but I have had them break out by accident and just run it like that but not for a long period of time since I’m not a fan of no walls or support of some kind as a whole

I'm curious how long that frame on the black bike lasts before it folds... Be careful!

You say that like you have experience, I’m assuming you mean the all black bike that didn’t run very good?

Can't run it with stock cap off like that you would need to tune the carb completely stock without carb tune is 26mph and usually they like to run lean so 29 to 33mph max stock

@@younggg4209 not sure how much testing you have done or how many miles you have put in multiple different bikes. There is not 2 of these motors that are the same even if you get 2 that were built one after the other in the factory. So any texting done is very generic to another. However I know that you get far more then 26mph with a cap of in a motor but there’s so many variables to get to these numbers. For instance gear and rpm and port durations and shape and stroke length. Now even if we take similar strokes and port maps there will be differences unless these are ported by cnc machine. So having a blanketed statement that they only get 26mph is just wrong. I have gotten much more the. That with a stock gear and adjust port map with stock carb just tuning done to it. These motors need back pressure to make the power so having a complete open cap does limit the rpm your motor can reach and take the exact motor that only reached 26mph for you with no cap will definitely get more with a cap but loose a lot of the line (torque). So depending on what your goals are and the power you made with the port mapping will determine what you want to do however if you want real power then a proper exhaust is important to get the best of both. No cap is really just for someone without much money to play that wants to get if th line faster. I think a cap with a holes or two in certain spots and or baffling took out of stock carb makes a big difference too. So I disagree a lot with saying a cap less pipe will not go more then 26mph but there’s definitely reasons why and better ways to go about it. Thanks for commenting and watching, I enjoy hearing what other are doin and thinking.

If your thinking about getting a Bt100 don't do it. Get a yd100. Parts are hard to find and way more expensive. I can't find a replacement crankshaft, I can't find get a proper pipe, the cylinder and head which are huge to make it not over heat is at bikeberry for around $180. Wtf. Even the bucking bar is a weird length. Don't do it unless you can afford it. Hey bikeberry if you read this ditch the bt100 and make a nice upgraded yd100 and you'd probably sell more motor kits.

Can you put the BT100 V2 top end on a YD100 bottom end without major mods?

      Bolt pattern yd100 is 50mn by 50mm bt100 is 58mn by 58mm some yd100 10mn piston pin all bt100 have 12mm piston pin

@@Matt-1992 Surprised it's an 8mm bolt pattern difference when they both use a 50mm piston....I agree, better off buying a yd100 since you can almost buy 2 yd100s for the price of 1 BT100 V2......Make an aluminum air scoop for yd100 & use a temp gauge if worried about overheating.

@@michaelbrinks8089 ebay has a yd/ld100 cylinder and head with gaskets for $84.00 usd and free shipping. Bikeberry is 85 for the cylinder, 60 for the head, 15 for the base gasket, 30 for the head gasket plus shipping wich is expensive. then you need the studs. Bikeberry is a rip off. Yea I would love to test one just cause but if I’m buying a 100 it’s goin to depend on what I’m using it for but it’s either going to be to be a iron sleeve 49mm or a yd100 cause they make so much power.

Not 1 of them motors run clean, all 4 stroking.

Yea I feel like you missed the point of the actual video. I thought I made it clear on the rules for the video but no running was allowed to show what each part did for that motor. And the 110 ran great though.
