Edit for everyone reading this: Yes, 2b2t players are crazy, but not this crazy. The original comment says "Might as well place obsidian all over the sky in 2b2t". This means the ENTIRE sky. That means the whole 32m x 32m sky, world border to world border. with some simple math, we can see it takes over *a* *billion* obsidian. That is hundreds of times more than every other manmade structure on the server.
If a lot of obsidian builds at the same height it's for sure possible.

Can confirm, proofs suck very much, and I didn't even have to do most of them because I had that class Q4 19-20.
For those who didn't have to do them at all: For just the very beginning, you have to prove that a constant exists, that it is real, and that it is equal to itself.

I was hoping that Beastmachine threw a fake tantrum to dodge the heat and disguise his group continuing construction in secret, that'd be genius, but it worked out anyway, until it didn't

Last played there in October 2018, but recently I watched a lot of Fit's videos that encouraged me to join again. I logged out in a cave about 25k blocks away from spawn. I wonder what that place looks like now. At the moment of typing this comment I'm 7th in queue...

If Obsidian is so hard to destroy, wouldn't the best form of sabotage be to just fill in the blanks and just make it a square? Having a square of obsidian isn't as impressive as having a picture of something.

Its gonna take alot of time to place the blocks and there are players patrolling, its probably easier to cut off their obsidian supply (assuming theyre still building)
Making a square is cheap and lacks creativity. Remaking parts into other things is much better and shows way more effort.

If I remember correctly the plan was to increase difficulty for new players by making mob spawn anywhere anytime and by making visibility go down
If you go in there without hack client to boost visibility it is near complete darkness
I'm proud of the Japanese Army: they've not only adapted to the 2b2t climate, they're now major players
