Wow, that is so great. I lived in Farmington Maine for 15 years. Back then there was one shoe factory (Cole-Haan) still operating and I had friends that worked there. I still live in Maine and plan on driving up there and buying a pair of ORIGIN boots. They have an outlet store there. (When you buy good quality boots they can last for decades.)
I first started buying from Cole-Haan when I bought a belt there that was solid leather and lasted for years. It never broke, just got too much wear over the years. Most belts have that stupid screw in buckle that always breaks. And the plated leather cracks. I have also now bought many shoes.
@@johningle1 There are some good quality brands made here in Maine. I bought black leather dress shoes from a small maker in Lewiston back in the late '90s that are now family heirlooms! When I went in the outlet they had a cobbler in the front room showing me how the shoes were made and how the soles could be replaced. I knew I wanted this experience because my wider family have been involved in leather and shoemaking. The huge factories seen in New England were making things.
@@johningle1 A lot of the Cole-Haan shoemakers from Farmington shifted to working for Sebago Moccasin. Nostalgically, Those Farmington Cole-Haan shoes were so nice.
I live in NH, but my girlfriend lives in portland. I went to their outlet so I could make sure I order the right size of their maine moc toe boot. The ONLY 100% made in america boot you can buy these days. I'm excited about the boots, but also proud to support american manufacturing, I worked in manufacturing for 10 years and was able to buy a house thanks to being well paid for my skills. Honestly going to farmington maine to go to a shoe store was like a time capsule, the small town vibe is unreal.
What I don't get is how they are able to put it on both boots because they even said themselves they only had one entry and one exit, which means two holes all together, and somehow they had four unless they faked it on the other boot.
I literally came to the comments to say why did they intro this "shoe whisperer" guy who's been doing it forever then let Shaggy loose with a needle lmao
This is incredible on so many aspects. Good to see Americans producing and being proud. Heads High my fellow Americans, we will not be defeated so Help me God.
man, you guys just came up with a great idea. Take someone's hide they earned from a hunt and turn it into something they can use everyday. That would be so awesome if you could do that for every American!
Unfortunately the price of doing it is too high cuz no one wants to accidentally ruin someone’s leather and no one wants their leather accidentally ruined lol Most hunters really only ever have ONE taxidermist that they trust with the job
I've replaced every shirt in my dresser with origin at this point. In central Florida, I have not seen a single person walking around with an Origin shirt aside from myself. To know there is a whole community up north all repping the team is super cool to see. Almost makes me want to pack up and move to Maine.
Those boots are a couple pieces of beautiful artwork. Really cool to see so many different people putting their hands on them and working with them and building something so amazing.
To see something like this come to fruition must be an incredible feeling. The videos in the past year have built up to this masterpiece! Love it, keep up these videos. 💙
Sick boots! Man you got to meet Rogan that's awesome, they always say never meet your heroes but I think Joe is a very down to earth dude and I would love to meet him. My Dad has been a hunter all his life and I think I'll pick him up some Origin camo this Christmas.
I do handcrafted leather so I really enjoyed this. And the BMF fight was great!!! Max back in too and Justin showed why he was the BMF belt holder! Amazing performance from both guys!
As a business man myself, these gents are the model for what a honorable, trustworthy, and successful person in business looks like. Bravo guys! Nailed it!
I have been wearing custom handmade work boots for over a decade. The fit, comfort, quality, and durability are simply levels above any mass produced boot, and I have wore most of them. Also, they are fully rebuildable multiple times. Don’t skimp on investing in your boots and your bed. If you’re not in one, you’re in the other.
Hearing jocko talk about his denim jeans company while walking your guys work on the boots could bring a tear to my eye, God bless America and her people

Me?!?!? ✌️😎👍
Tony Hinchcliffe or Tom Segura
How about someone who can't afford boots not some rich sellout???
